We had a nice clean room. It wasn’t high ditch but again we were paying only $200 a night. The service was very nice. The front desk was always there to help us. They had a mediocre breakfast in the morning continental coffee wasn’t great but other than that, it was a very pleasant day and we look forward to seeing Ojai and oak view soon.

I stayed at Oakridge Inn this weekend for 1 night 6/27-6/28 and right after check-in I had informed the front desk girl that the toilet in the bathroom was not working. I was told there was no other room to move my family to and that they would contact "the hotel manager" and someone would get back to asap. After another follow up, I was told that I had to manually flush the toilet myself and that they would get back to me as soon as they heard back from management. To my disappointment, I did not hear back from anyone and eventually checked out the next day asking again about the issue and was told the same thing again. They would contact management and I was also given mgt contact so that I could contact them directly. The toilet would not flush because the plastic arm that connects the flush handle to the chain that lifts the plug inside the toilet tank had broken off from inside the tank. So in order to flush the toilet, I had to reach my hand into the water of the tank to manually flush the toilet. Of course, I had to do this several times during our stay, and this is completely unacceptable to me as a guest of the hotel. I am normally very patient and flexible when it comes to issues that could be resolved. However, the fact that I did not even get a response to my issue is disappointing and frustrating.

This place has been refurbished regularly over the years and the rooms are configured good and everything is clean. The current management are very polite and prompt, from taking reservations to assisting with any special needs. My only issue is that they rely on local contractors crews to populate the rooms mid-weeks. At least every time I've been there, there were loud trucks pulling away very early in the morning (5ish) and this last time I went there there were a bunch of guys standing around in the parking lot drinking and laughing loudly. The location is good for snyone visiting the Lake Casitas area, Oak View, Meiners Oaks or Ojai. Their rates are much more reasonable than the motels up farther toward Ojai.

Wonderfully furnished with very elegant and in good condition. Real dinnerware and silverware. Real coffee cups. Clean walls and floors. Hot shower and very roomy. Brett the office manager was very friendly, gave dinig advice and even willing to call restaurant for me! Though I am traveling for work, I would also stay here with my partner! Thank you for a clean, comfortable and safe stay!

We housed our film crew here for a few weeks Dec - Jan and it was a lovely little home away from home. The staff were attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and the manager was very accommodating with our last minute changes. I recommend the rooms with a kitchenette if you plan on staying a few days. It's just outside of Ojai, but a quick easy drive to downtown. Oakview also has it's own quaint little community with restaurants - right next to Ojai Pizza, donuts and a coffee shop.
