Horrible experience. They are in desperate need of staff, training, empathy and compassion.

It's 10:30 P.M and my mom hasn't had her insulin today, At all!! 138 sugar. Apparently, they ran out of her insulin and need to order some more. Also, I know my mom isn't the easiest person to care for but she hasn't had a shower in who knows how long, no one wants to change her. I understand they are understaffed but tell me why no one can figure out who is going to change her. I understand times are tough and they're understaffed but that doesn't excuse the negligence. It's just not right! I'm disappointed by the way my mother is being treated. I wish I could do more for her!! She might have a functioning mind and trust me I know it's not always a rational mind. She's ornery as all get out but she's still human and deserves to be treated with more humanity than what she's been receiving. Do better!

My mother-in-law is currently in this facility and although we haven't had any complaints about the way she is being treated or cared for the problem is at the front door. You cannot get in or get out without an employee. They should have someone sitting at the front desk 24/7 so people can get in and out. Sometimes we are at the front door for five solid minutes buzzing to get in and no one is around. Same thing when you go to leave, you cannot get out without them putting in the code. At one time we had a whole line of people waiting to get out of the facility and couldn't because no one was around. This needs to change.
