I would give 0 stars. My family is very upset with novus they send caseworker to the house knowing he is in hospital very unprofessional and unacceptable.. I called therapist cause he wasn't feeling better he told therapist to call ambulance than talked him out of going not even 2 hours later he was going in and out of it not hardly responding oxygen was 64 pulse was 68 and blood pressure was 98/74 the ambulance showed up and we are at hospital and will be here awhile.. I do not recommend and don't go to Shawnee gardens rehabilitation center they will send novus to ur house .. we have never had a caseworker or a state caseworker now there both involved .. novus will not be caring for my family any longer.. and they are there for therapy not to call the hospital for information we never wanted novus cause of bad reviews and trust me there service isn't worth the headache or trouble they bring to your home

I felt compelled to complete a follow-up review for the Novus LifeCare Staff as a whole. One of the most arduous tasks in life is preparing for the transition of a loved one. It's heartbreaking and tremendously painful time, but when there is a team that regularly meets about your concerns for your loved one there is a solace or peace that ensues. This team of professionals cared for my grandmother and strived to meet her needs, as well as our family's needs. From the day she transitioned, I have not failed to receive some type of encouraging correspondence to remind me of the peace of God and to remember the memories I shared with my grandma. To the Chaplain, LaVonna[sp], I want to thank you for a heartfelt spiritual connection. To Karey, thank you for the moments of compassion and your own personal experiences, as well as making sure Grandma had whatever she needed medically. To Ashley[sp] the aid, thank you that when you were able to show up, honey you showed UP!! To Janelle, thank you for hearing my heart, even when it didn't seem like it made sense. Even though it was my friend LaKeitha, a former hospice nurse, who made us realize the short period of time we had we are grateful for the presence of the staff. We're eternally grateful for the service provided to my Grandmother. God's choice blessings to each of you.

My family's experience with Novus LifeCare has been exceptional thus far. The team has become an avid part of our family's village in taking care of our loved one. Ashley, as well as the other staff have been very professional and personable in their supporting roles. The anxiety and burden of selecting the proper care for our loved one has been diminished. You can definitely tell when the staff is supported by those in leadership, because it manifests in the care they provide their clients.

I got to know Ashley when my neighbor here at the senior apartments fell ill and needed assistance. Then I met all the hospice nurses coming in to see him. Ashley and her nurses were so good to Bud till he lost his battle and passed. I have since seen Ashley on numerous occasions when she’s been here checking on other residents your company provides services for. She is a very kind and nice person. It takes special people to do what she and all the hospice nurses do.
