My elderly aunt stayed there for rehab. Was sent out to the hospital with plans to come back. She was discharged from the hospital to home. When we try to retrieve her clothing she was missing four items of clothing. Tried to call repeatedly, no answer after three consecutive calls, A nice person finally walked over to the side/unit that she was in and connected me with a woman who could not speak English and could not understand what I was saying and I asked her if she could put someone on the phone that spoke English she then hung up on me. I’ve been trying to call now for the past half hour and nobody is picking up the phone . I don’t have a warm and fuzzy feeling about a facility that loses a patient’s clothes and/or does not hold their clothing while they go into the hospital. This is basically theft. Would love to talk to the executive Director but I can’t get through.

Our family's experience at Nottingham Rehabilitation was not about recovery in the traditional sense. My father was here after a long, six-year battle with a terminal illness, following a final hospital stay. We came with the hope of bringing him home, but in the end, he made his wishes clear: he wanted to stay. Nottingham had become more than a facility to him; it had become a place of comfort and peace. The staff honored his choice with such respect, and in doing so, gave us the ultimate gift of knowing he was exactly where he felt safe and cared for. Exceptional, Heart-Led Care: · Molly, A Shining Light: My dad adored his nurse, Molly. Her warmth, her caring nature, and her outstanding work ethic brought him genuine comfort. She always had a big, sincere smile, and in return, so did my dad. In his final weeks, that connection was a priceless gift. She treated him with dignity and saw the person, not just the patient. · Guidance Through the Most Difficult Decisions: When the time came to honor his wish to stay and to focus solely on comfort, the support we received was nothing short of angelic. The Director of Nursing, Laura, and the social worker, Lameka, held our hands and our hearts. They helped us reconcile our hope to bring him home with his desire to remain in the care of the people he had grown to trust. They guided us with such sensitivity, patience, and unwavering support. The comfort they provided while we navigated this emotional journey was both outstanding and heartwarming. They lifted an impossible burden with their kindness. Final Thoughts: Nottingham Rehabilitation provided our father with exceptional care and, most importantly, the right to choose his final chapter. They honored his fight, respected his wishes even when they differed from our own, and supported our entire family with a level of empathy that goes beyond any checklist of services. For any family walking this most difficult path, we cannot express enough how vital this environment was. They don't just care for the patient; they care for the soul of the family. We are eternally grateful to Molly, Laura, Lameka, and the entire team for giving our dad a true sense of home when he needed it most. My dad was recently there for rehab after a post stroke seizure. Pros: A lot of the staff were super friendly and helpful and treated my dad so kindly. He stated a few aides were pushy at times. I also had access to come and go to see my dad whenever I wanted without being questioned. The nurse practitioner, therapists, and social worker were very helpful and kind. Cons: The facility was bleak and the room my dad was in felt dirty. They had recently repainted, but the carpet was disgusting, and the room felt depressing (no pictures on the wall, only a bed, chair, table, and tv.). He was in a part of the facility with nursing home patients and he was very uncomfortable being around them as he was just there for rehab. I felt like he never got to leave his room. My dad was so unhappy there, and I’m glad he didn’t have to stay too long. He said he would refuse to go back if he had to do rehab again.

My mother has been here two different times for rehab. She’s 97 years old . After a complete hip replacement and femur fracture, They helped her get back in her feet and back to walking with her walker. The leadership here is wonderful ready to help in anyway they can. Very accessible. The nursing and care staff is also excellent. I highly recommend this facility. This is why I chose Nottingham rehab when she fell this second time. I would recommended Nottingham to anyone.

I gave Nottingham 5 stars, but wish I could give them more! I found companionship, wonderful care and safety within this facility. The room was very comfortable and felt like home. The staff is well-trained, equipped to care for oldies like me and always ready to be of help. My care team always worked together for my best interest and needs. The healthy food menu offered many choices and was absolutely scrumptious!
