My experience with the management at Notre Dame Rehabilitation was extremely disappointing. I found the leadership to be dishonest and lacking transparency in their communication and actions. I expected professionalism and accountability but instead encountered evasive behavior and unfulfilled promises. In my opinion, there needs to be far greater honesty and ethical responsibility from those in charge. I would caution anyone considering this facility to ask detailed questions and carefully monitor the quality of care provided.

My mother had a wonderful stay here while recuperating from surgery. She was very satisfied with her room, bed, care, food and more. The staff, including Marjorie, made her feel very comfortable and safe. Mom loved having a chapel in house for her morning prayers and meditations. I'm hoping my mom doesn't require any more surgeries in the future but if she does she'd be more than happy to recover at Notre Dame.

I’m a retired nurse and have had first hand experience in multiple long term care facilities. As far as ND is concerned, it is because of the staff that my family can sleep at night. One or the other of my siblings are there most every day, at different times and what we find is always the same. A caring and compassionate staff who take extraordinary care of our loved one. I’m always amazed that staff from all departments know, and greet my loved one by name and always have a moment to share pleasantries. It was incredibly difficult to make a decision to seek LTC. There were some hiccups upon admission- and adjustments to make. But we did the work and are more than pleased at our decision to entrust ND with our loved ones care. As far as our experience with Marjorie, it has been beyond positive. Her door is literally open and she takes a personal interest in the care and wellbeing of the residents. I’ve seen it. I’m so grateful for her and am confident that she is in the right place as Director of ND. Sister Lucie is tireless and there in a moments time if any resident needs her, day or night. Once again, whenever we visit, it’s not surprising to see her around every corner. Sometimes it makes you wonder if there are multiple sister Lucies! The kitchen staff is friendly and the food is delicious! They work hard to ensure that every resident has the right diet and always have the residents well being at heart. The dietician is sweet, competent and readily available. Security is warm and welcoming. They are friendly and kind to us and to the residents. Austin is the go to guy (social worker) for issues that need to be addressed. His door is also always open Theresa the DON is rarely in her office as she is wandering the halls talking with the staff and the residents. The laundry, housekeeping and facilities departments are very responsive. They have quick turnaround in the laundry, keep ND impeccably clean, and are a phonecall away if something needs to be fixed, hung or assembled. Dr McDermott a Godsend. He is empathetic to both the residents and the families. And every now and then he brings his clarinet to play to a receptive and appreciative audience. I bring my dog. 🐶 Suffice it to say that no facility is perfect. But this is as close as I’ve seen. And that’s why we can sleep at night.

This is America, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But I can not agree with the former review. Notre Dame is incredible. The staff is caring and the leadership is strong. My wife put her father in the facility when he could no longer take care of himself. He was very happy with the food, all the activities and the staff. He said everyone was very friendly and professional. The place is not new, but it is sparkling clean, good sign of attentive leadership. When it is my turn, I hope my kids put me in a place like this.
