The staff and management here at Northwoods Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center are very caring and passionate towards their residents. Call lights are answered in a timely matter. Everyday they have some kind of activity every couple hours, they take residents out to dinner and concerts in the park in Clare. They take their residents out in public to many events. Nursing staff is also very caring and passionate towards residents in facility. , I would recommend this nursing home to others based on the way I been treated since coming here for Rehabilitation. Sincerely; Scott Giles

Please do not take your loved ones to this facility. Big lack of communication and coordination. Promises are made with no follow through. “Policies and regulations” are used as the reason that care can’t be improved. We made the difficult decision to move our loved one and were very glad we did. Read the reviews carefully, as most are from employees and not patients or family. Employee turnover is a big issue.

North Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been an incredible place, and I can’t say enough good things about the care and compassion shown here. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported every single day. A special shoutout to Deanna — she is absolutely amazing. Her kindness, patience, and dedication do not go unnoticed. She takes the time to truly care, communicates clearly, and always makes sure families and residents feel heard and valued. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it makes such a difference. Thank you to Deanna and the entire North Woods team for creating such a welcoming, supportive, and professional environment. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care and peace of mind.

I have worked in this facility almost three years, and have had the privilege to build a relationship during, and before my employment with the staff and residents of Northwoods. Many of my family members have became residents in this facility during their times of need. There were no complaints from my family members, or myself during their stay in the facility. I appreciated seeing the great care given to my loved ones, and fell so in love with the environment which led me to begin working there as well. Being able to experience the care given to my family, as well as been given the opportunity to give the same care to others, has made me realize that Northwoods doesn’t just care for your loved ones - but makes them feel at home. This facility has always had an accepting, and family like feel; no matter if you are a resident, visiting, or working!
