Every time the follow up has been amazing and my clients have been so happy with the care they have received. It is great knowing I have such a wonderful resource at my fingertips.

We used NSCC to take care of my dad first, and then when my mom needed assistance, both at the same time. The people working were kind, diligent, and nice. My mom was upset when we first had them to take care of dad but she soon realized they were saving her from doing work she couldn't do herself. And then mom appreciated all they did for her up until we needed hospice care. The NSCC team worked great with the hospice team and they were indeed very compassionate. Dad was a bit sad to say goodbye to his help but decided to move into assisted living to be around more people.

Highly recommend! Very reliable service. Very nice and professional caregivers. Plus good with paperwork aspects (if you are getting reimbursed by insurance for the costs)

After 5 days at home from Knee Replacement Surgery (April 6, 2026), the Home Healthcare Nurse yelling at me two days in a row, my husband and I were at our wits end. We decided to hire a caregiver to help me and provide some downtime for my husband. We interviewed two companies, both well qualified, and we decided on North Shore Compassionate Care. We chose North Shore Compassionate Care because they provided caregivers who truly understand how to support someone recovering from knee replacement surgery. I only needed help for a short window each day—4 hours, from 11 to 4—and they were completely accommodating. I had one main caregiver, Gabby, and a substitute, Essra. They both were skilled, attentive, and confident, which made a noticeable difference in my recovery. It was a tremendous relief for me as the patient, and for my husband as well, knowing I was in capable hands. When I eventually felt ready to end the care, I appreciated that I could do so without any penalty or pressure. That flexibility, combined with their professionalism, made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. In addition, I truly liked working Nick and Elizabeth (first contacts at Compassionate Care), the kindest people who truly cared about my well-being.

We have been using Northshore Compassionate Care for my mom for the past 9 months. Each caregiver has been like a member of our family.
