We came to stay in the extended-stay apartments while we were visiting my mother. And we got to our apartment, we were so thrilled at the cleanliness and the attention to detail. We really are enjoying our stay. The staff is friendly and eager to help.

I just watched an older gentleman dropping off an older woman for her dr appointment. He reminded her about her sun glasses, helped her out of the car and walked her inside while having friendly chit chat. Makes my heart smile knowing how carefully she was taken care of. When I need assistant living hopefully I remember this place. Thank you for making my day.

The staff truly care about the residents and go above and beyond to make everyone feel safe, comfortable, and valued. The environment is warm, welcoming, and very well maintained, and there are always engaging activities that keep residents active and social. The meals are delicious, well-prepared, and offer a great variety. It’s clear that the team here treats residents like family, and that level of compassion and professionalism really stands out. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a caring and high-quality place for their loved one.

My brother was resident of North Oaks for several years. A stroke victim at the age of 71 he moved into North Oaks once independent living was no longer an option. He was definitely one of the younger residents there. We were very pleased with his experience at the facility. More importantly my brother was happy there. I’d often ask him if he had any issues with the accommodations & he had no complaints other than the fact that his health was such that he required that sort of living situation. He was happy that he landed in such a nice environment. Always a foodie he had no complaints about the meals & would offer even rave about a meal they prepared. Although an outgoing & friendly guy he could be quite demanding. I never heard him complain about any staff member or employee of North Oaks. He developed a nice relationship with many people on staff. Although his motor skills, memory & some cognitive issues were affected he still was fairly sharp & opinionated guy, who would have complained if he was not pleased with something. He also spoke fondly about the engaging activities available for him at North Oaks and speakers they would bring in. A notably unartistic guy all his life, they got him involved in art classes (even winning an award) and he loved the weekly music appreciation classes. In all his & our family’s experience with North Oaks & its management was about as great as one could hope for. I am happy to recommend this facility to anyone that asks.

I am a visitor of one of the residents. The food here is bad. A few years ago, it used to be good, then it became okay, and now it’s consistently bad. Management knows this, but nothing changes. The residents deserve better - they pay a lot of money to live here. They also don’t have a choice but to eat this food. I don’t have a problem with the waitstaff. They are very patient and respectful, but the food they serve is terrible. I’m tired of getting sick after I eat here. I’m heavily leaning towards filing a formal complaint with the state. You know it’s bad -hold yourselves accountable and fix it.
