About Nightingale Arkadelphia

Nightingale Arkadelphia is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, with a licensed capacity of 100 residents.

Family reviews paint a starkly divided picture. Most families describe attentive, respectful staff who respond promptly to concerns, keep the facility exceptionally clean, and create a warm atmosphere, one family wrote that their loved one "felt very loved, cared for and safe." The building's bright design with abundant greenery around rooms stands out as helping residents feel less institutionalized. However, one family reported a serious incident involving inadequate personal care and lengthy periods without attention to a non-ambulatory resident's basic needs, raising concerns about consistency in care standards across different shifts or situations.

Nightingale Arkadelphia holds a 4.8/5 Google rating across 20 reviews. Prospective residents and families should weigh the predominantly positive feedback about staff warmth and facility cleanliness against the documented gap in care quality, and may want to ask specific questions about supervision protocols and staffing levels during different times of day.

My dad spent his last few days of hospice here. The nursing staff were lovely and definitely treated my dad and us with such grace and care. The facility is bright and clean, and doesn't smell like some retirement places do. What I really liked was all the greenery that surrounds the building and is visible from all the rooms so it doesn't feel like an institution. It's hard to lose a family member but they made it so much easier.

Nightengale has the best staff. They care about their residents and take such good care of them. My sister is in the best hands here and I never have to worry when I’m not with her. I love this place!

This nursing home left our loved one in a pullup from 1100am until 630pm when we arrived to check on him. The pullup was bulging it was so full. He was also still in the wheel cheer that he was placed in before we left that morning. He cannot wheel himself or move from one space to another. He is coherent and told us he was there all day. As we were speaking to him a staff member came up with in 5mins telling us how she had just started her shift. He was there for over 1 week and had 1 bath. Another day he had thrown up and all they did clean his face but left him in his clothes and it was dried. We had him transferred immediately to another facility. Today that facility said he was throwing up what they believed to be bowel and transferred him to the hospital. They asked if he had pajamas. We had just bought some and hung then in the closet at nightingale. When my husband went back to the facility to ask for them they dont know where they were and claimed they had given all his belongings when he was transferred. We have the receipt to show what was purchased. This place is unacceptable to care for those who cannot care for themselves.

These guys have been absolute ROCKSTARS! From communication to the care they provide our family has NO complaints or bad things to say! My grandmother felt very loved, cared for and safe inside your facility. The staff and everyone was always very sweet, kind, prompt with any need or question had and offered a smile around every corner. Nightengale at Arkadelphia, thank you guys for everything from the care you guys gave to my grandmother to the checking in after her discharge. Keep up the phenomenal work!

My Mom was in rehab after hip surgery. The nurses and CNAs were very respectful and caring. Any concerns we had were immediately addressed! This is by far the cleanest facility I’ve ever been in! Everyone here is wonderful!
