I cannot recommend this facility due to a profound lack of communication and administrative oversight. To be clear, the nursing and CNA staff are not the issue; the problem lies with the doctors and management. During my grandmother’s five-week stay, our family was consistently ignored by the medical team despite multiple inquiries regarding her pain management and status. Communication was so poor that we were not notified when her condition became terminal; she passed away last week without the facility ever informing us she was close. The 'care' here felt transactional and negligent. Please advocate for your loved ones and choose a different location

My family am I are truly grateful for the exceptional care my grandfather received during his rehab stay. From the Administrator, to the Social Work department, the nurses, CNAs, therapy team, dietary staff, environmental services, and the laundry department. Every person played a role in making sure he was supported, comfortable, and treated with dignity. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand how much teamwork, compassion, and dedication it takes to create a positive experience for residents and their families. The coordination of care, attention to detail, and genuine kindness shown by your team did not go unnoticed. It meant a great deal to our family knowing he was surrounded by professionals who truly care about the people they serve. If you are looking for a facility with a strong care team and a compassionate environment, whether for short-term rehab or long-term care, I would highly recommend NHC. Thank you again to the entire team for the difference you make in the lives of so many families.

NHC is clean, quiet, and spacious. It has the most kind and professional staff that’s makes you feel welcome when you walk in the door to the different staff members in that back that are caring and ready to assist my mom and me whenever we need it!!!NHC is the place for my love one it give that home away from home feeling for my mom. Thank you NHC for all you do. I couldn’t do it without you!❤️❤️🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️

I'm a patient at NHC Nursing home and rehabilitation center, and I would recommend this place for the elderly and for rehabilitation, there's many nurses. CNA, and the staff period that is very helpful if needed. I am so happy that I came here.

I own child cares and can walk in and observe/evaluate care facilities quickly, but still may be fooled. My mom just survived colon cancer and then broke her hip shortly after. After a month hospital stay in critical condition, then finally stable, I transferred her to NHC for therapy.. I liked the fact that employees stay busy and patients/residents are visible in hallways, nurses stations, tv rooms activity rooms, and dining halls. There is very little isolation observed and that's what i was looking for my mom. My mom came home today at 83 surviving a hip break and is actually more mobile than before her cancer!!! The staff at NHC is remarkable and Susan her head physical therapist is GOD SENT!! Just remember a facilty is about the people who care for your loved one, not about a chandelier!!! I PRAY GOD BLESSES ALL THE EMPLOYEES AT NHC!!!!
