DO NOT send your loved ones here.My 92 year old Grandmother recently shattered her knee and had to havesurgery to repair her knee which included placing 2 plates and 14 screws in her knee. We were told she would need 3 months of inpatient rehabilitation to get her back on her feet so she was sent to NHC. She has been there now for 5 days and has yet to be given a bath, asking for ice for her knee is like pulling teeth not online do they give us a hard time about asking for the ice they also continuesly keep bringing us other people's ice packs and sleeves and the ice packs aren't even frozen, we told them that she has to have ice every thirty minutes because she has so much swelling down her entire leg that she can even left her leg and her toes have discoloration well they told us that she doesn't have a note from the doctor that she has to have ice so there isn't much they can do. Common sense tells you that when someone has major orthopedic surgeon they need ice to keep the swelling down so that you don't cut circulation off in the extremitie that you had surgery on. The nursing staff are so rude and do not care about the patients. The patients call lights are constantly going off yet the nurses are just sitting at the nurses station and looking at their phone and not going to check on the patients at all. It takes them anywhere from an hour to two hours to even bring my grandmother her pain medication so she just sits in pain and crying until they decide when they are going to bring her the medication and they do this to all of their patients. They haven't even checked her surgical site not one time since she has been there and we are going on day 6. The nursing staff along with everyone who works they have treated my mother so terrible and all she is doing is advocating for my grandmother to make sure she gets the care that she needs and deserves and NHC is not providing that at all. Please whatever you do DONT send your loved ones there, Im begging you to find somewhere for them to go because this place is just awful and should probably be shut down.

They do not change patience some times for two and three days. Some care and some do not. It smells like urine. They do not change the water. Serve patients food they can’t eat. They sit and ask for help for an hour. There is no help. One lady was wet and not changed for three days. I’m sad at how some of them treat patients. One lady asked me about doing a class action law suit. Check on your loved ones please. A few are nice but too many just do not care. Please please check on your loved ones.

My only regret with NHC is that I wasn't able to get my mother there sooner. We experienced a level of care here that far exceeded any other facility she has ever been in. I owe so much thanks and gratitude to everyone who helped my family through her death, and not only provided her exceptional care, but emotional support to my family through such a painful time. Thank you Tamika Johnson for going above and beyond to look after my mother's needs, especially on my work days. Thank you Sarah Beale for talking me through the final days with my mom. I couldn't have made it through without you.Thank you Tracy and Robert for giving her the best care possible. Thank you Lynne, Marie and everyone on the administrative end of things for helping us with all of the paperwork. If I could give NHC 100 stars, I would, and I would recommend any friends with aging loved ones to not even consider sending them anywhere else. I couldn't even imagine my mother dying in any of the other places she had been prior to NHC. Sincerely, Laurel

NHC's staff has been a huge blessing to my family. They are all so kind, supportive, and helpful in every avenue of giving care. I was constantly communicated with during my mother's stay, and she adored her caretakers. The professionalism at NHC is stellar. My mom has recently moved out and into another care facility closer to me, but she often mentions missing the NHC staff and especially the food! The space is very clean and comfortable. I could not recommend a better care facility than NHC. Desirée, Yolanda, Crystal, and Kacy made it home to my mother as she recovered from her surgery. I'm thankful for their immeasurable assistance navigating her path forward.
