I love Nella's and have for many years. It is a very traditional facility, you can tell by the decorations and furniture which makes the elderly feel at home. Each resident has their own TV and every room has an AC, as well as a heater. 3 Meals are given each day and snacks are done 2-3 times a day also, along with drinks being supplied constantly. Activities are always fun and they sometimes even take the residents to places. I love it

I have never had an issue with this place despite it being a bit warm at times, but that is largely due to the residents’ requests. As with every nursing home, there are times where residents need cleaned & therefore there is a smell very little of the time. Anything causing a smell is taken care of swiftly. Nursing homes can get busy, especially on evenings with no housekeeping staff, more vistors, lots of call lights & lots of phone calls. The staff do their best & their best is great! The administration, most specifically Jonathan & Tonya, are very willing to accommodate with any complaints or concerns I’ve had. Thank you guys for what you do ❤️

Today I witnessed the saddest filthiest facility I have seen. My grandmother was place there for early dementia. I’m concerned for her as well as the other patients. I watched staff cuss the lady in the room by my grandmother. They wouldn’t change her bed pans! I had to do it. There’s blood and fecies and blood along with other bodily fluids all through the facility. Dirty paper towels and diapers all through the facility and parking lot. I wouldn’t let a dog in there. That place is dirty and the staff are very mean and ill mannered to the patients and the visitors. I’ll be contact the West Virginia nursing board along with the BBB. Do not send a love one to this facility. Upon arrival we weren’t treated well and she wasn’t either. There was no tour or instructions and the doors are always unlocked. My family has watched some devastating things to my grandmother and other clients. No staff has checked on her for over 12 hours her first night! She has only been there 3 days and we will be getting her out. There were patients falling out of the bed and they just laugh and walk on. I will follow up with pictures and another review shortly!

Having to place my husbands grandfather here has been the worst experience of our lives. They are not cleaning him properly. He calls for help and has to wait hours. He says the staff curse a lot about doing their jobs. He just had open heart surgery and needs quality care which he is not being given. They don't give him the food that he's supposed to get. I've worked in nursing homes since 2018 and I've never seen something so bad. Would not recommend to anyone!
