A truly great Place to help Recovery. Very inviting. Cafeteria is good food and rather social. Residents are treated with respect and a supportive team. Special shout out to all Staff. Enjoyed meeting Heidi. And bring Aloes and Plants for all. Hope the Trees behind the facility are growing as well. ( Its been a while). I enjoyed making scenic postcards for all residents!!! Nine months ago, my husband's sister in Florida needed memory care because she could no longer take care of herself. In moving her to Myrtle Beach, we found Myrtle Beach Manor to be a blessing. She gets good care, and stimulating activities. The compassion of the staff and their willingness to answer our questions and work with our family has given her an opportunity for a quality life that we weren't sure was possible. I was in Myrtle Beachsnor for 3 and a half months.during my time there most of the care was satisfactory. Especially from the physical therapy from the physical therapy department. The people who provide d me with support services during the loss of s friend there, and they also helped me with sleep issues and problems I had with dealing with certain companies o was having trouble with
.There is a physicians assistant that does provide excellent care also.. They have an excellent med tech there who gave me excellent advice there concerningy Parkinson's disease and dehydration
unfortunately they have a med tech there who refused to give me my medicine alon October 19th at 10 till 1p.m.. she said it would be against the law to give me my pills then. The problem was she had put in the computer that I was not there. I do have acopy of the Mar report showing that
. I also have a copy of the sign out sheet showing that I was there.. There was no such las stating thati verified that with my physicians assistant the next day that the incompetent med tech was wrong at the very least
Her name is Nakeisha Richardson,. Knowing that I would be seeing Nakeisha Richardson the next day I tried to keep my feelings under control
.However when she took my blood pressure the next morning it was 195 over 95, well into the stroke heart attack range the well ess director and the physicians assistant were alarmed, and warned me about what symptoms to watch iput for .T 1pm I was so dizzy I could hardly walk and was about to pass out . I managed to get to the wellness directors officedhe could tell I was on fire straits and walked me back to my room I attribute this all to the very unprofessional incompetent med tech Nakeisha Richardson. The executive director and assistantedrvutive director are well aware of of this incident
Why tid med tech is still employed in her position is absolutely reprehensible. I must digress back to the professional Med tech Kourtney Witherspoon,
She is very professional caring and ond always hustling. She puts up with all sorts of problems on a daily basis and is very tolerant with the most difficult patients. I do not know what she is paid for what she doesbut I hope it is not the same as the other med techs if it is that is a shame.

My mother had open heart surgery and went to Myrtle Manor in Myrtle Beach S.C. for rehab. I recommend this facility without hesitation. The staff provided excellent care and were very compassionate. I wish that I could give them more than 5 stars.
