Kristen W asked by our side as our father took his next journey. Mosaic Life Care staff was helpful, courteous, caring and provided so much support. Our nurse Kristen wasn't just a nurse, she became part of our family as my father made his transition. She made him feel safe, comfortable with allowing him to pass with integrity and dignity. We are incredibly grateful to the Mosaic Hospice team who cared for my dad, with special thanks to his primary nurse, Jason Atkinson. From the beginning, Jason’s presence brought a sense of calm and compassion that made a world of difference for our family. Over the months since November, we developed a meaningful bond with him, and his steady support gave us comfort through each step of this journey. He treated my dad with such respect, warmth, and dignity—seeing him as a whole person, not just a patient. His care was not only professional but deeply human, and we’ll always be thankful for the grace he brought into our home. We also want to thank Lacey, whose kindness and gentle care meant so much to my dad, and Laurie, whose emotional guidance and support helped carry us through. The Mosaic Hospice team members who answered the phones with patience and compassion, and the on-call nurses—the Megans, Sarah, Susie, and Cynthia—who responded promptly and caringly, ensured we never felt alone, even in the middle of the night. To every member of the Mosaic Hospice team who stood beside us during this time: thank you. If we’ve unintentionally left anyone out by name, please know it’s not a reflection of how deeply we appreciate each of you. Your compassion brought us peace during one of the hardest moments in our lives, and we will never forget it.

Most people equate hospice with death and don’t want to sign up. Thanks to Mosaic Hospice, we now understand that it’s about helping a loved-one Live to the very best of their ability comfortably for the time they had left. It’s also about the compassionate support of the family members as we struggled through grief and the practical steps of living. Earlier this year our dad became qualified for hospice. After some research, We selected Mosaic Hospice and could not have been more pleased with the professional service provided. Every person on the team genuinely cared about providing high quality of support for Dad and for us as his care givers. The Hospice team provided us with information in a way that allowed us all to process and helped Dad maintain his privacy and dignity throughout his level of care. it didn’t matter if it was midday or midnight, they responded to help us all through the transition of the final stages of life. We received the most caring, compassionate, professional services from Cody Newman and the Hospice Team when our Dad needed assistance. There isn’t a finer team in this state to help families during this difficult and highly emotional time of life, making the transition as comfortable as possible. They kept us apprised every day of what to expect and what they needed to do. Thank you Mosaic for providing us with the staff and the experience of first class Hospice Care.
