The staff took exceptional care of my sister until she passed away. The facility is small enough that the residents receive personal care and are fed home cooked meals. I observed them preparing pork chops for dinner on an outdoor grill. I was impressed with each and every staff member and the individual care they provided Highly recommended!

My sister has lived at Morning Star for about a year. The facility is a smaller homelike environment which means that my sister gets a lot of individualized care. It’s a huge step to place a loved one in the care of others, and I have felt comfortable that she is in good hands. There are many excellent, long term staff at the facility that are dedicated to their profession and meeting my sisters needs.

Saw a review that they were abusing their residents which is laughable and makes me angry. Nothing of the sort happens here. I provide medical care to many of the residents and have never seen evidence of abuse or neglect, nor have ever seen anyone even get mad or frustrated with a resident or their family. If I had a parent that needed this level of help, Morningstar would be at the very top of my list. The residents are treated better than family under the leadership of Amber and Holly and I am soooo thankful for them!

Both my parents and my aunt were residents at Morningstar. I can’t say enough good things about this facility! The staff is so caring and patient and treated our loved ones like they were family. The communication was excellent and it gave my family such peace of mind to have our folks there. The food is excellent, they have exercises everyday, afternoon activities, movie nights, special music and other activities. It is a well run facility that is just the right size to provide a family like atmosphere. Everyone of my family members would say the same thing! We felt blessed to find this wonderful place for our loved ones.
