I am writing this to let everyone in the Peoria and surrounding areas know about wonderful assisted living facility named Charter Senior Living, located in Washington, IL. My great grandpa has lived at this facility for the past year and a half, and he is extremely happy in his private living area.The staff at Charter are so loving and care so much about their residents. Since being at Charter, my great grandpa has made many new friends. Once you come through the two sets of double doors, you will know exactly what I mean! The building is beautifully decorated and very clean! I am at peace leaving my great grandpa at night, knowing he is being taken care of in good hands. Please come to this facility, you will see what i mean!

Great staff, very clean . My mother loves the people and staff . Within 2 months her doctor noticed significant changes and improvements in behavior and her depression was gone. Just cant say enough about this facility

The staff were very caring and friendly with mom. They helped her preserve her quality of life and her dignity for which she was very grateful. We are thankful to the staff for their care for Noni til the end. Thanks to John for hooking us up with the VA.

My mom has been a resident here for about five years and it’s just wonderful.<br><br>Their Mission Statement is along the lines of “helping the human spirit” and they do it. More than that they knock it out of the park.<br><br>A week ago at a residents request they held an in house art show. Each artist had five or so pieces on display. The place was a buzz with energy, as it almost always is. They were serving hors d’ouerves on silver platers, and the management had done a great job getting word out via text and email so it was well attended. It was honestly fantastic, like so much pride in their events and the attention to details, the amazing food, and the way the staff is with the residents.<br><br>This is a group of people making the lives of these residents better. They’re lifting the human spirit. Thank you to Laura and Marty and Jed and everybody I’m sorry if I haven’t called you out by name there’s just too many to list you all. Thank you all for what you do and the effort and intention behind scenes.
