Morning point, has taken amazing care of my grandfather and my grandmother. The staff are the kindest and the most caring folks around. With the passing of both of my grandparents, I can proudly recommend this place for anyone and everyone.

My mom is in her late 80's and, until recently, has lived at home on her own and doing great. Recently, however, it became clear that she could use a little more help with some things. As one of her three kids, it's fair to say that the three of us really dreaded the thought of Mom having to live in some kind of "home" and not on her own. That was always her wish and we wanted to honor that. I personally spoke to her about this over the years. My Dad had to be in a memory care place a number of years ago and that was tough. It was hard to watch and I know Mom did not like the idea of her having to leave her home in her later years. But with her personal safety in mind, we all knew it would be best to find a better living situation for her, Mom included. My sister did the hard work in researching options and settled on Morning Pointe in Spring Hill.

Mom got moved in and my other sister and I immediately paid her a visit. We were both so pleasantly surprised at what we saw. Morning Pointe was full of happy residents, cheerful staff and wonderful facilities. Mom's room is clean and offers her all of the things that she needs while she maintains her own independence. Everyone was very attentive and the food was delicious. The residents decorate their door/hallway area with things that mean something to them which adds a neat personal "touch" to the facility.

One thing that was important to everyone was not only the "general mood" of the facility, but to have a place where the residents are valued, cared for and given all of the independence that they deserve. Additionally, it was a huge bonus that Morning Pointe is a "faith based" facility. Every day, the residents are given an agenda for the day. On the agenda there is a scripture verse. They offer things that are categorized into such things as "social", "spiritual", "physical", etc. So there are fun gatherings (like miniature golf and Bingo), devotion times, exercise gatherings, etc. that meet all of these important needs. The residents have friends they look forward to gathering with for meals, and there were plenty of smiles all around. My sister and I were quite pleased and, honestly, taken aback.

We met with Heather, the Community Relations Director, who explained their philosophy and answered all of our questions. The Finance person was there to assist me in helping Mom plan for that part of it too as well. They were both incredibly kind and friendly, which just reinforced to my sister and I that Mom was in good hands.

Mom has been on her own for a number of years now and wasn't able to socialize much. We know how important that is and already we've seen her engage and make friends. That warms our hearts and just further reinforces in our hearts and minds that, despite everyone's desire that Mom be able to stay home, this is a good place for her.

If you're looking for a wonderful place for your loved one to reside and be given great care, consider Morning Pointe. It's a special place!

The staff at morning point is top notch! They are compassionate and kind and they are doing everything they can to help
My Mom & Dad stay together safely and comfortably while helping them deal with health issues and changes that are inevitable as they age.
