My mom was brought in by transport from the hospital for physical therapy. When she arrived, she was put into a very small waiting area where residence were wall-to-wall and was never properly greeted by staff. When they took her to her room, she felt like they squeezed an extra bed into a cracker jack box. She is easy to please, gets along with everybody and never has bad things to say about anything or anyone, her expectations are nothing above what you or I would expect, probably even less. There are other things I could say about the establishment, but I’m not going to because this is my real issue: within a few minutes of being left in that room, she had decided that this place was not for her. She let the staff know that she would not be staying and asked if she could use the phone to call for a ride. At this time, it is dinner time, they have her sitting out in the waiting area while they are serving dinner trays to all the residents. One of the staff members went to hand her a dinner tray when another lady said, we are not going to feed her. Out of embarrassment, my mom said that’s OK. I’m not hungry. A few minutes later another staff member tried to give her a dinner tray and that same lady said once again, we are not going to feed her. She is not a resident here. Once again out of embarrassment, my mom said that’s OK. I’m not hungry to that lady as well. I think a lady from the kitchen witnessed what was happening and came out and ask her if she would like a bowl of soup, she responded with you’re not allowed to feed me. What kind of facility is going to tell a 73-year-old lady at dinner time that she cannot eat? Yes, it may have cost them $1 to feed her which she would’ve been more than happy to pay for, but that’s not the point. I realize this is a skilled nursing/nursing home and many of the residents may not know or care about what is going on around them. Some may not have family to come and check on them and therefore may not get treated as well as they should. My mom has lots of family who cares a lot for her and was only here for physical therapy, she is well aware of her surroundings and how she is being treated. I just wanna say to the staff, no matter who comes through that door for your help, treat them with love and respect! ACT LIKE YOU CARE !!!

I would rate this place Zero stars if it gave me the option to it is the worst place possible to take your elderly family member, the food is trash, the staff doesn't care about the patients, Dosent listen to what the patients have to say. Find a different place to take your family member because this place is not it. I have way more stuff to say about this facility. But it is all negative JUST RUN FROM THIS PLACE DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PLACE WHAT SO EVER!!

My uncle Keith was a resident here for about two years and he absolutely loved it. He was moved to another place at one point due to medical needs and begged to go back. The staff was always nice and welcoming anytime I went to visit. They made sure they not only took great care of him but they made sure to build a relationship and he absolutely loved it. They even had a few of the staff reach out after he passed and attend his service. Nothing but a great experience with them. Everyone has their own experience and ours was great my uncle was an amazing person and he really enjoyed all the staff here. Never had anything bad to say about them. The nurse eddy was one of his favorites he was always so kind and willing to take time to joke around and have fun. The cooks were always so sweet and would sneak him extra things when he asked. Great place!
