The staff are all great and I have been treated well. The 1 and only complaint is the lack of the ability to breathe in here. It’s not normal for the dryness in the building. I did remedy this by putting humidifiers in my room and they were taken from me. I was given 1 back but 1 is not enough for the extreme dryness of the air . I have been all through this country and have never had any issues with the air contents until here. Everyone I spoke with has told me the same thing this is a problem and needs to be treated.

I wouldn't send a loved one here at all. This place is a joke. My mother passed away unexpectedly at this place. She was found deceased at 6:58pm, I give respect to the CNA's and the nurses who was working that night. The upper management on the other hand does not care, have no sympathy at all and then was disrespectful after my mom passed away. There is some bad CNA'S too, they didn't care that my mom passed away too. And apparently, this is words from Mary jo, we have to give a 30 day notice after death like really. Before my mom passed away, there was multiple problems with Masonic. So again, don't send your loved ones here.

I moved my dad last year, he picked the place. The care he has received isn't the greatest. Unless your planning on visiting as possible or live close I would not recommend. You're paying top dollars and no one ever follows up with you unless you are persistent. We let our dad pick the room he wanted and made sure that everything he wanted to keep would fit. He was quite comfortable, then they gave him a weeks notice that they would have to move everyone off the floor due to renovations. They moved him into a much smaller room with less closet space and told him that all his stuff couldn't fit. Mind you this was done without notifying any family that could help. He also did not get a choice of rooms. We called and left messages and of course no one called back. We spent a day there after the move trying to get him situated, he had already given away some items and there were lots of clothes laying on the bed because he now had one closet instead of 2. Basically I feel as if he was dumped in the room to figure out everything on his own. I should add that there is not a reduction in rent. This isn't the way to treat our elders.

I need to remove my mother from a home that is not providing adequate care to the point of being Dangerous. I called Aubrie for a tour. I drove from Merrill to Alma just to look around. Most places let you look around even if no one is able to give a tour. They do Not allow it. I had to get a referral from her current residence before they would even give a tour. Three days later I get a call from Aubrie that they won't accept my mom in the Nursing section.. No reason why. I was stunned. I'd had high hopes of being able to get my mother into a nice setting before the other home accidentally kills her. Aubrie repeated that they cannot tell me why she was rejected. Finances (she has the ability to cover the costs), me (I called 3 or 4 tomes with messages- nothing bad), her condition? Nothing. It would help me going forward to know. I always find that this sort of closed communication seems as they have something to hide. That the reason is unfair and possibly illegal. Very cold and uncaring. I hope the rest of the staff isn't as cold as she is for other families sake.
