My mother died of a drug overdose while living at their facilities on their watch. If you love the person you are admitting here, please consider that. I was lied to many times and denied access to my mother's belongings. I was treated with the utmost disrespect and it took a lawyer to speak with anyone from the company. This place is disgraceful - I have never in my life felt such disappointment.

MHK helped me get out of my dark lonely cave and back into the light. Mental health kokua was my last stop. I tried AA,NA, church, bowling, I just couldn't fit in a friend told me to check it out and I did. After a year of therapy and meds I started to feel better and better. Another year passed then I went to the peer specialist training on Oahu.( one of the best things I ever done for myself) I did my interning at mental health kokua Maui. After that I volunteered there for another 3 and a half years (I wanted to give something back and if it wasn't for mental health koku I would have never got to where I am at now and also I love the organization and the people in it both consumers and staff. Then I was hired as an RA and that's where I'm at today so I just want to say that I am a strong believer in rap I do a class for wrap and color therapy. Mental Health kokua helped pull me out of the worst depression I have had. So thank you MHK.! Mahalo, Donna Moore
