Melrose Meadows Retirement Community offers Independent Living and Assisted Living apartments in Iowa City, Iowa. The community is situated on a beautifully maintained campus surrounded by mature trees, a natural pond, and green space, located next to West High School and minutes from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Independent Living apartments are designed for residents seeking maintenance-free retirement living without daily assistance. Residents enjoy no home upkeep or property taxes and have access to housekeeping and meal services. Independent Living does not include daily check-ins, medication management, laundry, or personal care tasks.

Assisted Living apartments provide support with daily tasks such as dressing, showering, and medication management, with staff on site 24/7. The community is the only all-inclusive Assisted Living in Iowa City, with rent including assistance with bathing and dressing. Assisted Living may also suit residents with memory issues who do not require a locked facility or round-the-clock supervision.

The community comprises 89 bright, private apartments nestled in a quiet neighborhood setting. Melrose Meadows does not offer skilled therapy, long-term care, nursing home services, or dedicated Memory Care.
