I have visited my friend here multiple times and I have to say, I am NOT impressed. The couple of nurses, that they actually have, were nice enough, but the disorder in here is out of control. You have people sliding out of their wheelchairs with no one around to help them. It took 15-20 minutes to finally find someone around to help them. I watched as an elderly woman cried out, "Help me, please someone help me!" right in front of two CNA's, who didn't go to her aide. The woman had Dementia and couldn't remember where her room was and was scared to death. My friend actually took her to her room - the CNA's never even looked. There is a woman (a patient) there that cannot keep a roommate because she is violent and mistreats them. She choked her last roommates guest and nothing has been done about her. If she's in a hurry, or just angry (which is 95% of the time) she will slam her wheelchair into you and NO ONE does anything about it. NO ONE! This woman needs to be placed in another type of facility that can deal with her, not her deal with them!! I am appalled and shocked, I have never seen a facility like this in my life - and I have seen a few. There is also a nurse there that if you ask for your meds or go to with a problem (which you should be able to) she will tell you things like, "Have you asked God for help? You need to ask God to help with your pain, not pain meds." Now, I am a Christian woman and even I find this unacceptable! I will be thankful when my friend finishes this rehab and can go home...before she is hurt.
