It's always a difficult decision to put a loved one in a nursing home, especially for long term care. I have met so many caring people at Medilodge that treat your loved one like family.

I stayed with Medilodge of Cheboygan for over three months recovering from several surgeries. The nurses became more than just caregivers, they became friends. The staff was encouraging and thoughtful, helping me reach my goals to prepare me to return to my life with a plan and a positive attitude. I thank all of them again and am planning to come back and visit all the friends I've made.

My mom was in there a matter of 2 to 3 days at most started, retaining a bunch of fluid again and she said the food tasted just like it was in a salt Brine and the nurses took forever to help her told her that they had no ways of moving her around. It’s not right I know for a fact that they have ways that they can move barely 200 pounds. It’s not right for them to mistreat their we will be moving her out of there to a different home.

Absolutely Criminal how hot it is in your facility today. There is not even a drink bar accessible to the residents. You've got residents begging for a glass of lemonade and sucking down three glasses Within 5 minutes. I'm glad I was there to ask the kitchen workers for lemonade that was prepared for dinner. who knows if the man wouldn't have died from a heat stroke!!?? Absolutely disgusted. our senior citizens deserve better than this. You better figure something out because I'm calling the State as soon as they open Monday morning.

The Medilodge of Cheboygan took such wonderful care of My Dad during his difficult days. They were all so kind and compassionate!! One particular nurse went above and beyond to ensure him and the other residents had their personally preferred snacks and such. She also always took the time to listen to him and make him feel at ease. That was so meaningful!!! Also Danielle was beyond fantastic to work with while we sorted things out. Her patience and kindness thru an incredibly difficult period of his and our lives will NEVER be forgotten. I highly recommend this facility for your loved one if the need arises!!
