As my Uncle has been here over the past year CNA’s Bartley and Donia Thompson have made sure that he taken care of. Letting us know things he needs, making sure he feels comfortable and getting him up and moving even when he is having bad days. Charge Nurse Williams makes sure that any accommodations that are needed for him are relayed to the team. And that our wishes for his care are executed.

I had written two different reviews. But I decided to write one more. After the last review, my husband was back at 1 North. They are truly God-sent. I have to thank the staff at 1 North for the care my husband received. The extreme patience they showed toward him and even toward us. As I wrote before, I would visit him throughout the week. They made his stay comfortable and even went out of their way to address any grievances we had. The recreation department was great whenever I wanted to host a birthday party or any event for my husband; they were always happy to help out. They even gave him pet therapy and allowed us to bring our small dog. Each staff member showed care for my husband til the very end. I'm truly grateful to the staff of 1 North.

I'm a patient at Mayfair. I can't get Mayfair to send me to Columbia Presbyterian hospital for help. I'm at the wrong place to get help. I need to know what has gone wrong with my body. I need to know if I've been permanently disabled or if the doctors can fix me back to normal. I haven't made any progress from physical therapy. I'm suffering in my body while I write my review. I still need help and I'm not getting help. Mayfair is a two star nursing home that will take care of elderly patients who can't live independently on their own. Mayfair doesn't control the dementia patients who wonder in our rooms uninvited. Patients just have to put up with the nuisance or get moved to another room. The CNA nurses are average. I wouldn't say the CNA nurses are the best or worst.
