Why would a therapist tell a patient they are ready to go home because you're making progress when........the patient recently had MAJOR surgery and not even in the facility for the 1st 100 days. Not cool. Poor judgement call. If I knew than what you did to my aunty I would've filed a claim to stop your facility from discharging her.

Mauna Lani Rehabilitation Center (MNRC) is a place of respite and care that exceeded my expectations. I was a resident at MNRC from Jan. 20 - Jan. 31, 2026. What I appreciated most about MNRC were the smiles and hellos I received in the hallways, the inclusiveness of the residents in the center's activities along with the caring attention I received from the great staff, caring CNA's, empathetic Nurses, and the amazing OT & PT team! I am very grateful to everyone who helped me reach my personal goals. My positive experiences at Mauna Lani Rehabilitation Center (MNRC) made my stay memorable! Whether I was being greeted with a smile, assisted in my daily routine or in the dining room having a meal, the MNRC staff were attentive, kind and caring. I benefitted from the PT & OT sessions that taught me basic life skills and challenged me physically. I enjoyed participating in the daily planned activities that provided me an avenue to express my emotions through art and song and fulfilling my need for creative expression. Again, I highly recommend and want to express that I am truly grateful for the kindness and caring I received at Mauna Lani Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

Every (I mean EVERY) staff person there was friendly and helpful. They identified themselves and told me what their role was. I could feel how sincere and caring they were. When I stepped into the hallway in search of a restroom, it took only seconds before someone offered assistance. The facility was clean and well organized. There was no "nursing home" smell. The view from mom's room is magnificent (see attached picture). In summary, this is the FOUR SEASONS of nursing homes.
