If I could give zero stars I would. My sister was admitted on a Friday evening. She had Stage 4 kidney cancer with metastasis to the lungs and bones. We had to call 911 on Sunday to get her out of there. They refused to put oxygen on her. Her sats were good according to the nurses but her cognition was decreasing, her fingers and lips were blue. I tried to explain that she had a pacemaker which was letting her heart compensate but that she needed the oxygen, it was obvious she was not perfusing oxygen by her blue fingers, toes and lips. She was purse lip breathing. She had no oral intake the entire time. They would bring her tray and set it down. She could not feed herself. She fell multiple times, we asked the nurse for a mat on the side of the bed. He assured us he would get one. He never did. That same night the CNA'S were running a relay down the hallway, yelling and laughing and screaming. It was ridiculous. I went in on Sunday she had fallen again. The CNA said she kept getting up and lying on the floor. She could not do that. She could not even feed herself or get a drink on her own. They never tried to feed her or give her fluids. The roommate said that the CNA saying that she was putting herself on the floor, was a lie, that she was in fact falling. That day she had 2 untouched trays of food in her room. We ended up calling 911 and had her transferred to the emergency room. They said she was severely dehydrated and her oxygen levels were really low. I called and left a message for the nurse manager and never received a return call. Just an awful experience. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

Danto’s gave my parents amazing care & treated them like family. The staff were amazing, the facility was always clean, & the food was good. Most of all, the management team was just WOW..truly incredible & went above & beyond for our family during one of the hardest times in our lives. We are forever grateful for all the love, kindness, & support they showed my parents & our family. Thank you will never be enough!!!

My 86 year old mom was recently in Henry Ford West Bloomfield and was subsequently sent to Danto for rehab after falling in her home. She has been in other rehab facilities in the area over the years after various surgeries and I am generally not impressed with the quality of care provided in these institutions. However, that was not the case with Danto. I felt that my mom was receiving quality nursing and physical rehab in the month she was here. The staff was kind, patient, competent and above all receptive to my mom's many needs. In addition, the staff was always available to myself and my family and went above and beyond to listen and respond to us. I was there every day for the better part of a month and was always greeted at the front door with a smile and I received the same smile from the nurses, aides, PT staff, social work staff and any other staff I am forgetting to mention. Shout out to Prima, one of the head nurses, who went out of her way to listen and provide the best medical care for my mom. I highly recommend this facility for rehab if somebody you love needs the best possible care.

STAFF WAS PLAYING TAG AND RACING UP THE HALLS. Pills were on the floor, they were not feeding the residents who couldn’t feed themselves- with breakfast, lunch, and dinner trays still in the room. My aunt included, who couldn’t feed herself and she literally went 2 weeks with hardly any food!! She also kept falling out of bed but the nurse said she would get falling pads. NEVER DID. Your staff is absolutely incompetent and a complete joke. What Cracker Jack box did they get their licenses in? This is what the standard of nursing care is, and it’s not even at bare minimum. I am not exaggerating folks, My aunt has MS, kidney cancer, and lung cancer and they failed her completely. She doesn’t have much time and they sure did speed of the process. We took her out immediately. Great job.

My mother.\n Was in the hospital for over 2 weeks and then sent here for rehab? I could not ask for better care for better staff. For a better place, I am so pleased and amazed with this place that it deserves more than a 5 star rating. The staff is so kind and so knowledgeable and so attentive.\nThe care is amazing as they really care for the patients and their needs\n All my mother's needs were addressed in a very prompt manner. And like I said, the staff was so kind and so knowledgeable, I felt at peace. That she was there, and every time I would leave after my visits which was daily, I would have peace of mind that she was well taken care of and on the way to a speedy recovery, I highly highly recommend this place.\n For the nursing care And the physical therapy and they really do care genuinely about their patients. It is clean, it is easy to navigate.\n Staff, very attentive. They are very skilled in the nursing setting as well.\n And they always kept me well informed\n Mom seems to be doing better each and every day. And again, I highly recommend this place 10 out of 10
