27 Months<br>Mari de Villa is first-class and getting better. They get better because progressive, local, family management is on-the-job. They are committed to making practical upgrading moves.<br>I’ve been here for two years. I’m living independently, but friends and neighbors who have experienced all levels of care here, challenging times for all, were peaceful about the care they received from Mari de Villa’s attentive crew.<br><br>19 Months<br>We live in a house in the independent living section of Mari de Villa.<br>My wife recently had surgery, so we hired healthcare aids for a few weeks.<br>One of them mentioned that she once had worked for Mari de Villa advanced care.<br>I asked her what it was like to work for them.<br><br>She said her coworkers, and working conditions were the best.<br>She said they took excellent care of the residents.<br>I asked her why she didn’t stay in that job?<br><br>She said her childcare responsibilities made it impossible for her to keep regular hours.<br>She said she would happily go back to working at Mari de Villa if and when she could.<br>My wife and I were happy to hear this story about where we might end up someday.<br><br>17 Months<br><br>The owners are actively involved in an ongoing effort to upgrade the experience of living here. We're sticking to our five-star rating.<br><br>10 Months Later<br>Fairly rating any place has to do with how they manage realities.<br>Mari De Villa's crew did a great job cleaning up after the snowstorm.<br><br>6 Months Later<br><br>Mari de Villa is unique in many ways.<br>Mary and I are used to suburban living.<br>The sense of privacy and space here resembles our life before we moved.<br><br>Calm and quiet are two words I use to describe our lovely campus.<br><br>It’s comforting to know two stages of further care are at our doorstep if and when we need them.<br><br>The staff is unobtrusive, yet Johnny-on-the-spot when needed.<br><br>So far so good.<br><br>Moving to Missouri from North Carolina, we moved in to Mari De Villa, two months ago. I can only review their handling of our moving in and setting up shop. First class for sure. They have an active embedded ownership and an employee culture that cares about getting it right for us. Bravo to Mari!
