Margate rehab is a very clean and well-maintained facility. The staff is attentive to my sister’s needs. They know her by name and always greet her when they see her in the hall. She smiles and blows kisses which always makes them smile. She loves the food! She seems happy to be there which means the world to me.

On March 11, 2026, I arrived at the Margate health and Rehab facility to cover from a broken knee cap slip and fall accident. Everyday I was taken care of and actually was surprised I was treated very well. The nurses Assistants were friendly and if you asked, they were attentive. When I was able, my Physical and Occupationsl therapy began at 9:00AM, Monday thru Friday for 1 hour to start me on exercises to help strengthen my knee. The Therapy staff was wonderful. Each and every one of the took turns helping me. Some exercises were quite strenuous, but that was a good thing. I was determined to work hard everyday and not only make them proud of my accomplishments but to show them just how hard I'd work. I was discharged on Friday, April 10, 2026 to go home. It felt great to be home. I now gave in home therapy and I am continuing to progress, therefore, I would like to personally thank all of the Physical and Occupational therapists who worked with me, gave me the confidence that I can do this and put me on the right track to recover from my injury. Now remember I broke my knee cap in half. That's how powerful I hit the floor. This wasn't a knee replacement. I was put together with wires, rods and screws, so the healing process is longer than a normal knee replacement. I'm grateful for all of the staff that assisted me while I was there including the fabulous nurses I had. Some I got to know and it was a pleasure. When I am better, I will go back to all of them to thank them for assisting me on my long road to recovery. Thank you all. Shari Costaney Coconut Creek, Florida

My Mom has been there for 3 months and is getting discharged tomorrow. I will start with the very positive and most important reason that I am so very happy with this facility. One of her nurses, Jeremy. Over the past 3 months, with me visiting her almost daily, it’s like we developed a caring relationship. He has proved himself to be not only an excellent nurse, but someone who actually cares about his patients, knows what is happening with them, and is always there to give you their health update. He is friendly, kind, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, and someone I felt so happy to trust with in the care of my 91 year-old Mom. I always felt that she was safe, as long as he was there. I take that so seriously, and I cannot say that about every healthcare worker or place. It meant the world to me, that I could go home and feel that she was safe, because he was there. He deserves my words, and so much more. Also, Carlene, who bathed my mom, and took care of her in many other ways. She shone above the rest, as well. Very sweet, compassionate, and kind. She is truly a wonderful addition to the facility. I will miss both her and Jeremy, and I wish I could bring them both with me to where my mother lives. The reason I did not give the facility 5 stars has nothing to do with them. If it was just them, I would’ve given them more than 5 stars! The reason I gave it 4, is because there is not enough communication to the family. People that were supposed to call me with updates, from different departments, did not. I still don’t know what time my mom will be released tomorrow, and some other details. There is some sort of communication issue that should be addressed with different departments. Families need to know what to expect, upon discharge, and while the patient is there as far as updates. This is not happening. Otherwise, Jeremy, and Carlene, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for taking care of my mom, Susan Rudich. I wish you both the very best life can offer.
