If I could give 0 stars I would! My mother was there for approximately 1 month. She was there for acute rehab. After a few weeks the occupational therapist said that she had plateaued. They gave up before they even gave it any effort. She is now in a facility and thriving. If you plan to send a family member to this place, please message me first...I will give you all the info you need.

My Mother broke her tibia and fibula early in summer. Maplewood was such a blessing for her and the rest of our family. Prior to her injury Mom lived with us for the last 6 plus years. I was so skeptical about her going to Maplewood because of the reviews. The facility does. not smell like a dirty bathroom. Every person that we have encountered has been nothing but friendly and helpful from admission, CNA’s, nurses, social worker, doctors, dietician, food service, therapies as well as maintenance and check in and out desk. Mom enjoyed the food and will miss the people who have helped her on her way to recovery. We are so glad that she was able to receive kind and dedicated care with Maplewood. More people should complete reviews about positive experiences.

Care fluctuates. We've had some great CNS's and non-existent nurses. Once a complaint was made, they responded very quickly.

This facility was the worst I have ever seen. The staff is unprofessional and disrespectful. They are extremely short staffed so response time is very long. The facility stinks like feces and urine. The housekeeping was terrible. There was always garbage laying on the floor. My loved one said they would rather be shot then to return to this facility. He was treated so badly. It is heartbreaking to see the conditions they are left in. Patients are not bathed properly or cared for with any dignity. I would not recommend Maple wood to anyone.
