The 5 star reviews are all fake or purchased from Reputation Defender. This rehab facility is really dirty, the food is so bad my father refused to eat for a month while there and I had to bring food from home and supplement with Ensure. The day staff is nice and efficient but the night shift seems to be disgruntled and very snappy. My father needed help to the bathroom and nobody came after he tried to call on the button 3 times, and he soiled the bed. I'm not sure they have anyone awake and working during the night. No rehab is pleasant, but if the room wasn't so dark, dirty, drab and in need of maintenance and if the night staff was more accommodating it would be a more pleasant healing experience for the poor elderly people who have no choice but to stay here. My last complaint is this facility charges $60 a month to let the patients watch TV and there is no working WIFI in each room. So your poor elderly parent will be sitting all day and night bored out of their mind if you don't pay up. Even if you do pay, the TV and connection quality is very poor in some rooms. If you bring an iPad, there is no guarantee the wifi in the room will work. They will do nothing to fix it. The plus side is the community area is pleasant and bright, and most of the day RNs and CNA aids are very pleasant and try to accommodate the patient's needs as best as they can. The best part is that the OT and PT therapists are very good and work with the patients until they are able to do for themselves. That is the entire point of their stay. My Suggestions for improvements: *Vacuum, then scrub the floors in the entire facility, but especially the patient rooms and bathrooms. *Serve more nutritious fresh food. You have people trying to heal here and you are feeding them food out of a can and frozen, microwaved, food. *Put fresh towels in the patient's room. They leave zero towels for patients to clean up and wash their face, dry their hands, etc. Only paper towel is left in the bathroom. *Freshen up the paint and colors in the patients rooms. Everything is brown, dark, depressing. *Get new hospital beds. The beds are from 1980 and they are shot. They have lived their best life. Its time to replace. ***Get new wheel chair tires. You have old chairs with rotted rubber on the tires. When I took my poor father outside (he was healing from a broken hip) the chair tires are so rotted they do not cushion or absorb the bumps in the pavement, sidewalk, or door thresholds causing tremendous pain. * Clean the bathroom by the PT/OT area. It was so disgusting. You really should be ashamed.

Unfortunately, I was only able to stay 9 days. I had to go for a broken knee cap, and they "rehabed" me so fast, insurance said time to go home. I feel absolutely blessed to have been able to go there. As soon as you walk in, you see all the awards and beautiful artwork and are greeted by amazing people, you know this is the place. From the time I checked in to when I left, everyone was so attentive. They must have empathy as their DNA. It is so clean, none of that too-common facility odor. They give you the weekly menu with possible alternatives on the back. I thought the food was great! They also have daily activities. If you're not able to go to the activities area, someone will come get you. There are reading areas. I was amazed at how many OT/PT staff they have, and every single one of the absolutely dedicated to the person they were working with. They have doctors, PAs, CNAs, OT's, PT's, and more all over; and someone will be watching how rehab is going. I hope I stay healthy, but if I or anyone I care about needs such a place, this is it.

Every single person was absolutely wonderful to my husband and to me… he was the one in for rehab. He got physical and occupational therapy every day and that made improvements by leaps and bounds! The front desk are friendly, helpful, caring, and supportive! He even enjoyed the food! The nurses and the nursing assistants were attentive and supportive and there for everything he needed… pain… itching… shower… they helped him overcome it all.!! If I ever needed a rehabilitation facility for myself or anyone in my family or friends I would recommend this in a second! They have been a godsend! And a blessing!

My 5 1/2-week experience at Maple Manor Rehab Center, Novi, has been excellent. The nursing and physician staff, the administrative staff, the OT and PT personnel we're all very professional, helpful, and attentive. I have been well cared for and I am well enough now to go home safely and comfortably.

I spent over a month in rehab at Maple Manor of Novi. The facility is exceptionally clean with no unpleasant odors, creating a homey atmosphere rather than an institutional one. To my surprise the food, was actually quite good. Maple Manor, serves nutritious and palatable meals. The most crucial aspect of rehabilitation is the occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) provided. The physical and occupational therapists at Maple Manor are highly skilled, delivering excellent therapy. The attentive nursing staff ensured I received the necessary medication as needed promptly. Lisa, the patient liaison, and Abbie at the front desk were knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects. Whether it was the back office, front desk, or the janitorial staff, everyone did an exceptional job, maintaining a positive and cheerful attitude. My progress has been consistent, all thanks to the dedicated staff at Maple Manor. I am grateful to each and every one of them. If you are seeking a rehabilitation facility where your loved one will receive respectful, compassionate, and professional care, Maple Manor of Novi is the ideal choice.
