The staff here is very helpful and professional. Kathy Dunlap MDS provided the information I needed in a clear and timely manner. I would highly recommend going to her for any assistance and would recommend this facility for my family member.

NEVER SEND ANY LOVED ONE TO THIS PLACE!!! They all lie, cover themselves, and abuse loved ones.. I had many day surgeries at a point were I wasn’t able to drive or move and with this place knowing that I called each shift check on my loved one and how was the physical therapy treatments and everything was great!! Till I get a call with my loved one on life support, bruised, broken bones, lifeless, wounds with no stage, I went back and I recorded each shift each, each head nurse and non even knew about wounds, broken bones, it was said my loved one magically walked and fell in the bathroom.. NO WAY SHAPE OF FORM anyone in that condition could ever walk let alone sit up!! I did call state but they magically put up a new brand new rotation sheet on the wall that wasn’t there in the first place, because it’s recorded on camera not just mine and state did pass them with there swift cover up!! But they never heard recordings and vidoes and more!! Each person that worked on that wing needs to fired and take responsibility of their own actions.. I will say this one wound 19 inches wide and 25 inches deep, pus, fetus, blood they NEVER attended to or reported it prior to them finding out from LSU.. YOU DONT GET A Unstageable stage wound from taking care of someone and you can’t walk or sit up with that, especially with lifeless legs!! PLEASE NEVER SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS HELL..

Spouses' residence from July '17 for Dr reccomended special skin care after treatment at The Promise Hosp. for best wound care in area. Facility cleanliness is maintained. Disappointments: Kitchen/Food prep./ incorrect food prep for special care normally to residents delivered in rooms. Teamwork/Communication seems lacking between CNA-LPN-RN's & Admin. Lack in regularity of CNA to Resident Bathing/Call Answering/Room supplies replaced, etc. Visitors rest rooms locked w/no key nor maint. available after 4:30pm/wk-ends/holidays. Suggest Residents to remove valuables, rings, cell ph, etc. for Safe keeping elsewhere.

The staff that I have encountered there are extremely slow with no sense of urgency. They do not do their jobs proficiently, or on schedule. My father is now in ICU due to ketoacidosis because the night nurse has refused to check his blood sugar and administer his insulin properly. This is unacceptable! Whats more, he also has an infection because they haven't been bathing him on a regular basis. I have brought this up to staff several times and they still aren't doing what they're supposed to do. I wioll be filing a complaint with the director and social services

Lazy people and it very unprofessional, the patients have to be on their death bed before they be sent out to get professional help. The DON sits in the office all day on her phone and don't know nothing. The administration department always on dates with each other, so yea, they put on a show to get u in but you will be on your death bed going out.
