It qas suggested to me to come to Luxor mills by Cassandra Guido she is the director of admissions for physical therapy and occupational therapy after having total knee replacement.. I have to say that my stay was amazing and the therapy and the therapists were by far my greatest experience I was lucky enough to have Rachel and Athenia and they pushed me and got me through the toughest points and I was walking with a walker .. I could see the passion they had to see their patients thrive and the other therapists with their patients was amazing to see since I’ve worked in the health field .. the care I received from the nursing staff and the aides was outstanding as well from the good mornings by the day shift to the ice cold water left by the overnight … the best treat was the little cafe they had with real coffee … the only negative thing was the food .. maybe more thought and choices into your menu with some healthier options would something to think about but other then that amazing and outstanding care …. All staff were friendly and professional. Stacey and Stephanie, PT, did an excellent job in my recovery. Ann Marie, social worker, worked with me and my wife . She was very informative about the details of my stay and discharge. The head nurse also assisted me and my wife with any questions we had. The “free bakery” was such a nice touch. With delicious snacks and friendly staff. The rooms were nice, but did need some updating. All in all if necessary, I would choose this facility again for inpatient PT.

After 18 years working as an RN in long-term care, I have seen many different facilities, and I can honestly say I have been very impressed with the level of care and compassion shown here. The staff work incredibly hard and truly care about the residents and their families. What stands out most to me is the patience, dignity, and respect the residents are given every day. Nursing, therapy, housekeeping, dietary, administration etc--everyone works together as a team to create a warm and supportive environment. Long-term care is not easy work, and it takes special people to do it well. From my professional and personal experience, I feel comfortable saying this facility has staff that genuinely wants the best for people in their care. It is reassuring to see residents treated with kindness, attentiveness, and compassion on a daily basis. I would absolutely recommend Luxor Mills Pond to families looking for a caring and dedicated place for their loved ones.

I truly cannot express the gratitude, Love and respect that I have for every staff member in this facility! First off Kathy director of nursing,Kathy is the most selfless ,kind ,loving and nurturing human being I have ever met! I am forever grateful to have her in my life!! Now To Dad’s PT’s Staci and Anna words cannot describe the gratitude I have for the both of them. My dad would call Staci a magician and that is an understatement. Staci and Anna Played such an important role in my dad’s recovery because of them My dad is now back home With us! We have had the pleasure of having Staci rehabilitate my dad twice now over the last six years and we were blessed to have Anna join forces with Staci this time around. They never gave up on him. They were so patient kind, loving and caring. They went way above their Job description to take care of him , they went above and beyond making sure the staff knew that Dad‘s safety was Paramount!! All of that hard work has not gone Unnoticed and we are forever grateful!! I also like to mention angelina his speech pathologist, who because of her my dad is able to swallow all of his food and drink Without aspirating or choking, she too went above and beyond making sure everyone knew the safety precautions that were in place For dads safety!! I am forever grateful to her as well!! Now there were his amazing nurses Beverly and Avural , they both truly went above and beyond for my dad , they put up with me and all of my annoying questions constantly being there rallying around my dad. They were so patient with both Dad and myself. I am forever grateful to them! Now to my Hilda she is the best of the best she truly is the most amazing human being to walk this earth, her love , Caring and patience played a pivotal role in dad‘s recovery ,I will always be incredibly grateful for her!! My husband was a resident of Luxor at Mills Pond for more than 8 weeks. We were very happy with his care. The staff was always friendly, caring and willing to help.Nurses Sophia , Shannon, Shawn and Claudine, as well as Kathy, the nursing supervisor, were great. The always present Sophia was on top of any medical needs my husband had and was always available for questions and concerns. The nursing assistants work very hard. Thank you to Rose (who is wonderful), Lisa and Amanda. I cannot fail to mention Joon, the physical therapist and Jackie, the occupational therapist. They were so kind and patient with my husband. The food was very good and plentiful. The dietician, Victoria, went out of her way to make sure my husband was served his favorites. Lee and Clare were the friendly faces that greeted me each day. And, of course, the lovely Fiona was always present in the cafe to offer a cup of coffee and a treat. Thank you to Avi for being so friendly and concerned. I know that I have forgotten to name every person who helped my husband, but I want to say thank you to all of you!!
