Quick story, my aunt went into this home about 35 years ago at the age of 95. She was very wealthy, married to a railroad tycoon. Left me alot of money. After she passed a lot of her artwork and jewelry was never recovered and her estate sued harmony hall and received a six figure settlement for the theft of her belongings. However some of the jewelry was not taken and had been handed down to me. I recently took a trip to Maine with her ashes to put in the family mausoleum and when I was there I noticed it needed some repair. I decided to sell her remaining jewelry that should have had a value of approximately 40k in diamonds to repair the mausoleum and donate the rest to her families church. Only to find out that the jewels had all be removed from the jewelry and replaced with glass, done very sloppily too , damaging most of it. She used to complain to our family that they used to mistreat her and that the staff used to hit her when she finally became bed ridden and that the nurses would rummage through her treasures in the night. Think twice about putting your loved ones here. Now that im thinking about it there was a time when we came to visit her and her television had gotten old and wasn't working properly and my father went out to circuit City and purchased her a really nice large sony trinitron tv with a vcr and it had wireless headphones, probably like $600 back then. When we came back a few months later she had no TV and told us they took it from her room one day. Didn't even bother to put a cheap TV in the room just stole her television. Wait I remember an even better story about her time there, so when she went in the home she was still driving and she had a fairly new Lincoln Towncar(Champaign pearl with a red interior) as her health got worse she stopped driving, so on one of our visits she told my father to take the car or take it to the dealer and sell it, I remember because it took her an hour to find the title. She goes to get the keys off the hook in her kitchenette and she can't find the keys so my dad goes out and the car is missing. Ended up having to file a stolen vehicle report and everything. Oh ya she slipped getting out of the tub and broke her hip, but when the staff found her they left her there on the floor until the next shift even though she plead with them to help her, that was her ultimate demise to her health at 100. I was only a kid but I still feel terrible for letting her stay in this place.

I have so much gratitude for every staff member at Harmony Hall- the facility and staff are wonderful. My aunt was in need of a long term care facility to enter hospice from the hospital and we were having trouble finding her an open bed or getting her a quality facility. Gilchrist hospice recommended Harmony Hall. The moment we came into contact with Julia and Jon everything moved so quickly and efficiently. Their compassion, follow-up and sense of urgency helped hurry her transfer. My aunt wasn’t there long- but all the techs, nurses and staff were so attentive and wonderful. I cannot say enough positive things regarding the care and facility. It seems like a wonderful assisted living facility but also, a great place to consider hospice placements as well.

My Mother (100 years old) was admitted for respite care. She had wonderful people helping her, and I could leave town knowing they would take good care of her.
She enjoyed the other residents, the entertainment at happy hour on Friday afternoons…..the option of eating in her room helped her enjoy her stay.
The staff was very supportive of my needs as well. This isn’t a job for the people who work at Harmony Hall- it is a vocation.

Mom and Dad lived at Harmony since 2018. During that time, they had excellent care and were provided ample opportunities to join in on all activities. Mom found an outlet for her love of flower arranging and was able to teach others, as well. Overall, it was a perfect fit, given their needs during this stage of their lives. Our family was very fortunate to have been directed to Harmony Hall. Thank you for your care throughout these years.

Harmony Hall’s memory care neighborhood, Harmony Park, has been an incredible blessing for our family. My mom receives the attentive, compassionate support she needs, while my dad, who requires very little assistance, is still able to remain by her side. That alone is a gift we deeply value.

The memory care team is truly exceptional, combining genuine compassion with real expertise. The setting itself is beautiful, with a park-like feel and thoughtfully designed lighting that shifts naturally from day to night, creating an environment that feels peaceful, safe, and uplifting.

What stands out most is the dignity and respect shown to every resident each day. Knowing my parents are so well cared for gives our family immense peace of mind. We only wish we had made the move sooner.
