I recently had to recover from surgery and had to do physical therapy in order to walk again. I spent 2 and a half months at Life Care Center. The entire staff from the Administration, Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, Kitchen Staff and Custodians were awesome. Let me start with the wound care specialist nurse Ms Shereka she is God Sent. God worked through her hands to heal my body. I came in with a wound 18 cm wide on my abdomen and other wounds from surgery. With her healing hands for 2 month's and a half she cleaned, packed and bandaged my wounds because the wounds could not be sewn up. My wounds had to heal from the inside out so, it went from 18 cm to zero in approximately 30 days. Also I want to say a few more words about the Activity Center Director Ms. Jannie she is very caring and compassionate about her job. She implements different activities that we can enjoy throughout our time there. She is very artistic she taught us how to paint also how to do mosaic art she is very thoughtful she took out time to cook us a bbq meal for Memorial Day when we thought we wouldn't have anything like a bbq. Assistant Director Ms. Michelle she is amazing she has such a kind heart and she's very caring towards everyone. She said she has an old soul but I think she has a beautiful soul as well. While I was there I learned a lot from her she stimulated my mind each day with the lessons that she taught me from spiritual lessons to medical lessons and other things in between that I didn't know and I appreciate everything that I learned from her. She's such a sweet young lady. I also want to give a special shout out to the assistant to Director at the activity center Ms. Latoya she was very kind and sweet and nice to me and we became instant friends in the brief time I was their I appreciate them all and I will never forget them. They are all God sent. I also had physical therapy because I lost the ability to walk while I was in ICU and I want to thank all the wonderful staff Lauren, Roberta, Pat, Tish, in physical therapy they were very caring and compassionate . They showed so much empathy towards me. Thank you to everyone in physical therapy for helping me to get back on my feet in such a timely manner and for making me whole again. I will never forget you all. Also the administration was awesome in helping me and I appreciate every last one from Social Services representative Ms Sabine also including the administrative executives. Thank you Director of Food Services The food was delicious and seasoned very well. If you didn't want anything on the menu the staff would be very accommodating. The Administrator that runs the cafeteria Mr Albert is wonderful I give him and the cafeteria staff all Chef's Kiss 💋. If you have a parent or if you need physical therapy I greatly recommend Life Care Center. I have never experienced nursing homes / physical therapy facilitates that treated me with the utmost kindness and respect the staff was very professional and they do really care about the patients well-being and all aspects of your care and also the administrative was very helpful. I will definitely return to visit and also volunteer if they would have me I will never forget this place. Life Care Center of Gwinett County in my opinion should be the example of all the nursing homes in America . Life Care Center of Gwinett County is God Sent
