Meal suck, and have been asking for ice the last two days. They have one maintenance man over the whole place. No maintenance on the weekend yet this is a twenty-four seven operation. Today I was reminded of the pan that my mother kept on the back of the stove that held the scraps we fed to the dogs every evening. The need someone that knows how to cook. Employees will not touch the supposed to be meals served here. Need to ad 0 to the rating list

My Father had a short stay over the last 2 weeks. At first I was taken aback by the age of the building and the plain and simple reality of elderly care. My initial reaction was not good. After a short few days I quickly realized what a great group the staff was and how much they truly care for their visitors and residents. My Dad bragged on them every day. Every time I visited I was welcomed and kept informed of Dad's progress. He actually said that if he ever needs long term care he wants to go back to Leslie Lakes.
