This is honestly hard for me to write… but staying quiet didn’t feel right either. What families see online and what actually happens inside do not always match. There are real, ongoing staffing issues. Not just “we’re short today”—but a pattern of inconsistency where there isn’t a solid, familiar team caring for the same residents day after day. And when that consistency is missing, so is the level of care people believe their loved ones are receiving. I’ve seen moments that didn’t sit right with me. Moments where residents were waiting… where things weren’t handled the way they should have been. And those moments stay with you. Because these aren’t just residents. They are someone’s mom. Someone’s dad. Someone’s whole world. There are employees there who care deeply—but they are overwhelmed, stretched thin, and trying to carry more than they should have to. That’s not fair to them. And it’s not fair to the residents. This isn’t about being negative—it’s about being honest. Families trust this place with the people they love most. And that trust deserves to be taken seriously. If this were your family, would this feel like enough? They deserve consistency, dignity, and real care—not just promises. The truth matters, especially when people can’t speak for themselves.
