Over the past few years, three of our elderly parents — from both my side and my wife’s side of the family — have moved into Legacy House (LH). Our family has been very pleased with the care and support they have received, and I highly recommend this assisted living facility for several reasons. 1) Exceptional and approachable management - The management team at LH is highly effective in a way that is rare in many healthcare facilities. They are easy to reach, genuinely approachable, and always willing to help. They understand that every resident has unique needs and are flexible and responsive in addressing them. 2) Outstanding facility staff - Although the building itself is older, the facility staff is outstanding. Maintenance and support teams respond quickly to any concerns or requests, and their dedication makes a big difference in day-to-day living for residents and families alike. 3) Excellent food quality - Last but certainly not least, the food is delicious and high quality. Our parents consistently enjoy their meals, which is an important part of their comfort and well-being. Finally, a few weeks ago, one of the managers called me to say they had found $500 in my father’s pocket while doing his laundry. I had no idea he was carrying cash, and at 90 years old with significant memory loss, he didn’t remember it either. Their honesty and care in handling that situation spoke volumes and earned our family’s trust. Thank you, LH for everything you are doing for elderly people. Keep up the great work!
