The thing most noticeable to me inside Legacy is that the residents and the staff- from housekeeping to nurse to cafeteria worker to admin- all appear to be happy and joy-filled. The daily newsletter/menu… the weekly events…. The lovely courtyard… these are all my favorite things. But also, I always leave Legacy a bit uplifted compared to when I arrive. They are doing something right here. They are a blessing to our community. Thank you to the staff at Legacy. Thank you to the compassionate care you give our loved ones. And the inspiration you give to those that visit. God Bless you all!

Staff was so friendly and were quick to assist my friend (occupant) if she wanted something. They interacted and laughed with all of the patients and had activities planned daily. Love this place and would recommend it to anyone needing to become admitted to a nursing home.

It’s unfortunate when families are dependent on facilities such as this one in a time of need for a loved one. The last nurse we dealt with was not compassionate, nor respectful to my family during a time of grief with losing one grandparent and about to lose the other within days of each other. If you’re family likes being treated like an inconvenience during the decline of your loved one’s health… Then this is the place to go. If you like that staff will let you do their jobs…. Then this is the place to go… There were about 3 great aids and 2 good nurses. The woman with short gray hair and glasses that worked Saturday 2-1-25 around lunch time. She was the determining factor of us taking my grandmother out of that hell hole. I told her my grandma was aspirating and we needed the machine to suck out her mouth. She responding with “ugh I’ll have to find one.” It took over 15 minutes to be brought to her room. She brought it in and said “she’s not even choking.” Well 15 minutes later I would hope not. Then when my grandmother was choking later I used the machine to clear her out because staff made it clear they were not to be bothered. The nurse then came in and proceeded to “chew” us out for helping my grandmother. Please keep in mind there was no instruction for us not to help her. Also, know that we have been using the same machine at my grandparents home for his end of life care last week. When she left the room the family agreed no more. As we asked to sign her out the nurse was laughing at my family and was extremely condescending. Over all I regret giving the facility even this much of my time to even right a review. Please don’t send your loved ones here.
