The staff really care for the residents. The changes that they're making is wonderful to see for the patients.

WARNING: HONEST REVIEW ‼️ DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ‼️ ..THEY ARE NOT CLEAN AT ALL.. MY UNCLE’S DAUGHTER SENT HIM HERE. HE WAS VERY HEALTHY WHEN HE GOT THERE AND A FEW MONTHS LATER HE ENDED UP MALNUTRITION WITH A SEVERE STAPH INFECTION AND PNEUMONIA. THEY SAID HE STOPPED EATING SO THEY PUT HIM ON A FEEDING TUBE.. CLAIMED HE STARTED CHOKING OFF OF A FEEDING TUBE THAT WAS IN HIS STOMACH. THEY TOOK HIM OFF AND STOPPED FEEDING HIM COMPLETELY AND TURNED HIM OVER TO HOSPICE. THEY FED HIM DISSOLVABLE TABLETS AND MORPHINE EVERY HOUR FROM THEN ON.. 5 DAYS LATER THEY SAID HE HAD 3 DAYS TO LIVE. WENT TO SEE HIM THE NEXT DAY AND WALKED IN TO HIS DEAD BODY. THE NURSES DID NOT INFORM US HE WAS DEAD UPON ARRIVAL. THEY SHOWED US TO HIS ROOM AND LET US DISCOVER FOR OUR SELVES. WE STARTED EXAMINING HIS BODY AND FEELING FOR A PULSE AND 5 MINUTES LATER A NURSE CAME IN AND SAID “OH YEAH HE PASSED 30 MINUTES AGO”. HE WAS LAYING ON A BARE AIR MATTRESS NO SHEET AT ALL. HIS NOSE WAS FILLED WITH GUNK AND SO WAS HIS HAIR. HE HAD BED SORES EVERYWHERE. THERE IS NO SMOKING SIGNS ALL ON THE BUILDING BUT CIGARETTES EVERYWHERE IN THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING, EVEN ON TOP OF THE GARBAGE CANS BY THE DOOR. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN EXPEDITIOUSLY.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Unless you plan on staying with your loved one 24/7 while they are here. Do not send them here! The care is terrible, they don’t think to inform the family BEFORE sending out your loved one to the hospital.. which is the first I’ve heard and seen of that. Staff lies about the care they are giving, so don’t trust their word. Check yourself!!! Your loved one will be sitting for hours waiting for food or waiting to be taken back to their room. Absolutely unacceptable, I hate to see this place is even opened. Funny how it has such great reviews though. Coming from someone who just took their family out.. Please.. Send them next door to McArthur Manor or anywhere besides here!! We are now having to undo all the bad they did to our Papa.
