I went to visit a friend who is currently staying at LaSalle Nursing Home in order to receive physical therapy and get his strength built up. This was required after he underwent two cancer surgeries, extensive chemo treatments, and hospitalizations. As it was a Sunday afternoon, there wasn't anyone at the front entrance desk. But, there was a staff member in the hall who helped me to get in and out with no problem. My friend was almost asleep, so I only stayed a short while. I didn't see much of anything except his room. But all I did see appeared clean, tidy and organized. There were no unusual or unpleasant odors that have been present in other such facilities that I have visited. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I feel much better about my friend having to stay there now.
