This place will keep people that abuse and threaten to kill your loved ones. Some nurses will deprive your loved ones of air and not care when your loved one says they can’t breathe. Your loved ones will be sitting in their own pee for hours upon end because the CNAs want to sleep instead of work. They do not give medication on time. If your loved one falls sometimes they won’t report it. CNAs also bring drugs and a gun into the facility everyday they work. It was a disgrace to work for this company.

Our Mom is early in her third year of a dementia diagnosis. One year of living alone with a Sitter, one year with a son and daughter-in-law, and now we need Lakewood. From our first conversation with Tamara, to going through the application with Keiley, and every encounter we’ve had with every person - has been an absolute 10. I’ve never known kindness to pervade an entire Service Team, but Lakewood achieves it. In the words of our Mom, “I love it here.”

My mother was at Lakewood for rehab after a small fracture. The entire staff is excellent. Very caring, friendly and dedicated to ensure their patients are well cared for. They even helped me wade through the perils of insurance insanity. Good people!
