I cannot ever say enough for the gratitude we feel for Jacqueline, Alice, Rose, and Whinney. These girls are truly angels. My mom was home for almost two months under their loving care. With their compassion and care, we could go home and know mom was being cared for by someone who truly cared about her. This gave us the chance to just be there as family, loving and supporting our mom.

How much does Lakewood cost?

Published pricing at Lakewood starts around $4,800 per month. Final costs depend on care needs and apartment selection; contact the community for a detailed quote.

Does Lakewood offer respite or short-term stays?

Yes. Lakewood lists respite and short-term care among its options. A respite stay gives a family caregiver a planned break while your loved one receives full care, and it also works as a low-commitment trial before a permanent move.

Where is Lakewood located?

Lakewood is located at 8815 S Tacoma Way #120 in Lakewood, Washington.

What do families say about Lakewood?

Lakewood carries a 4.5 out of 5 rating from 8 Google reviews. Families describe Wellspring Home Health Center as a reliable, compassionate in-home care provider, with several reviewers naming specific caregivers who went above and beyond. Reviews on MyLivingChoice come from families who confirmed a connection to the community and appear with the reviewer's first name and last initial.

Does Medicare cover care from Lakewood?

Yes. Lakewood is a Medicare-certified home health agency, so Medicare Part A or Part B pays in full for skilled nursing, therapy and home health aide visits when a doctor orders them and the patient is homebound. There is no copay for covered home health visits.

Do I need a referral to use Lakewood?

For Medicare to pay, yes: a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant must certify that care is needed and sign a plan of care. Families can call the agency first, and the agency will usually contact the doctor to arrange the order. Ongoing help with bathing, meals and companionship is a different service, non-medical home care, which needs no referral.
