My wife drove me to the Staples hospital on a Saturday morning . I had severe abdominal pain . They quickly put an amazing team together to preform an emergency hernia surgery. The staff, doctors, and surgeons were fantastic . I was released from the hospital on Sunday morning . Amazing

Unfortunately they were not honest and upfront about their billing costs. I had a surgery scheduled for my daughter. We are uninsured and self pay. After doing a dr consult, and pre op, we were told we would need to pay $5,000 up front. This was never disclosed. We had to pay for the other appointments and now have to go to another clinic that doesn't require such a large upfront payment. We will have to pay again for the dr consult and pre op.

I've been going to Lakewood health for 2 years now for cancer care. I'm a retired NP and this is just the greatest hospital ever! I love the staff and my doctors and nurse. Also the staff in lab and imaging are terrific. I have had a routine colonoscopy, mammogram, no fewer than 100 blood draws, 3 PET scans..echocardiograms Always the staff is caring and so professional and kind. The front desk people, social worker.. I feel so blessed to have been given this wonderful place to get care..
