Staff thanked me for coming to visit my aunt and uncle. The halls smelled clean. A public restroom was clean, though the paper towel roller was broken. A roll of towels were available.

Staff was very nice and rooms were clean. The food could be better but that is my only complaint or suggestion for improvement.

I want to start off by saying, no facility is perfect. Healthcare as a whole has changed dramatically. However I have to give credit to Lakeside Health and Rehab in Carlinville. My best friend moved to Carlinville Lakeside in March of 2025. June 20, 2025 I was able to take her home with me to continue her recovery. Lakeside gave he so much care and compassion. The staff went above and beyond. They have several amazing staff members but to name a few of her favorite Dakota C.N.A and Stephanie the nurse always were top of her list. Special thanks to Rachel in the business office. Hats off to the entire team. I can never thank you all enough
