Do not recommend this place if you care for your parent. They’re clearly severely understaffed and no one there has enough time to review patient charts or truly connect with the client. My parent was admitted at 1:30pm, 4 people came in to answer questions and each one punted the questions of our parents medication to the next person because they “didn’t know”. It’s now 9pm (same day) and still not a single person knew what my dad’s situation was or information about his case. One nurse literally said “I’m just the nurse” and didn’t know the answer when I asked if they had the medication my parent needed available within the facility (which he needed to take in 2 hours). Something that I think is so basic AND FUNDAMENTAL for them to know. The internet wasn’t working, there are unfinished paint on walls and leaks in the ceilings of the room. The place looks run down and uncared for. My parent pressed the button calling the nurse for help while in the bathroom and the nurse did not arrive for an entire HOUR. My father was in the bathroom struggling FOR AN HOUR. This place is horrible, if you love your parent, you’d be doing them more service taking care of them at home than here. If you don’t care, this is the perfect place for them. The only competent person we spoke to was a nice black male nurse who had knowledge of my parent’s chart when my parent wasn’t even his patient / client. It seems he’s the only knowledgeable person there and deserves a raise after just one conversation with him. I took my parent and RAN out of there after a few hours of dealing with this place. I understand it’s a weekend but after the second frustrating conversation with a nurse, you’d think SOMEONE would take the initiative to review my parent’s chart ESPECIALLY when he’s supposed to be staying there for 14 days. I could tell they didn’t care within the first few HOURS when that’s supposed to be the primary time to make the BEST first impression. How am I supposed to trust you to take care of my parent when you don’t even know if you have the medication he’s supposed to be taking within the hour???? I’m severely disappointed and would never recommend this place to anyone.

Visiting a friend and am glad to see she is always well cared for, seems happy. The facility is clean and the staff we see are friendly and genuinely seem to care about the residents.

My mom was there for a month and a half, we removed her due to a change with insurance. While the CNA’s, nurses, PA’s and Dr were good to her, the administration was not. My mom needed specialized appointments with outside Dr’s to address the issues she was admitted for. I had to call, email and come in to address the issues non stop to get these appointments made. One was even missed because they claimed the Dr didn’t have the authorization from insurance (this was faxed to the Dr twice and it was emailed to the head administrator two days before this appointment). I was also told that it was MY responsibility to get these insurance authorizations, which I later confirmed in appointment with heads of all departments that it in fact was not, the person who’s job it is to do this stated she was “not familiar” with the insurance company so she simply did not do it and told me I had to! Ultimately my cousin made the appointment for my mom, picked her up from the facility and took my mom herself. They did not take my mom’s catheter out until I asked why it was still present. They also did not address her arm ( which was in a sling and the hospital said was possibly fractured) until I made 4 phone calls and 2 emails. Later that day (appt 1 month after the initial hospital xray) they finally completed another xray and made her an appointment with an ortho, which was also missed and rescheduled almost 2 weeks later due to lack of insurance authorization. Since we have removed her and took her to her primary Dr, he said this xray should have been completed about 2 weeks after the initial one at the hospital, not a month. I feel sorry for those that do not have anyone to advocate for their family that has no other choice but to be sent to this facility and even if they do, I wish them luck. And wish the amazing nursing staff that did help my mom ( they know who they are ) all the best !

Windows look pristine, however NOT. Street side yes. CNA's seem lovely when and if they can get to you. Can take up to an hr later. Especially when your diaper is soiled. No tubs or shower in room. 2 showers and 2 tubs for a occupancy of 113 patients. Therapy seems to be good. Food you must like mashed potatoes. Sometimes barely warm other times luke warm however can ask to be warmed up. Expect some time while others are getting theirs. Suggestion, have different people come unexpectedly during every day. Also check for missing items. Make sure what you bring you take home. Mark everthing there for them with patients initials. Make sure they know where your love one is located. 28 hrs not knowing is devastating. Overall check it out ahead of time. Saw no rating before selecting. Cannot contact office after 7:30pm. Office personnel are lovely when there. Always treat others the way you would want to be treated.. We are all God's children.

So everyone was really nice and friendly. Very kind to the pts. It did take a bit for them to respond to the call light. I am a nurse so I can help my mom but she does need to walk so she can go back to being independent. Please take time to make sure she walks 3x a day at minimum. She can do it especially if she has tylenol 3x per day. Thank you for all you do and for your kindness to my mom. My mom is a retired nurse too and she's a nice lady. 🙂
