The worst experience of my life. They serve you food that ur allergic too, give you medicine that's not urs, they neglect there patients. I wouldn't let a dead dog go there. I barely got therapy that I was there for. Over all under staffed and most staff don't care to do there job. The first night I was there my call light was on for 3 hours. 3 nurses was outside smoking weed. They didn't even like patients taking showers I had to leave the place just to shower and go back.

I came back from the hospital yesterday after having a port placement completed the day before. The staff at the hospital had called several times to confirm they could do everything the hospital was sending me back with to be done for my medical protocols instead of telling the hospital that they are a nursing home and do not do heparin flushes for the port or IV Benadryl for allergic reactions to IV antibiotics I am on they stated they could do those things and coming to find out today that they couldn’t do any of it or at least they are not willing to. Upon me telling them on dayshift well I guess you will have to send me back to the hospital then if you are not able to complete the medical protocols I was sent back here on after the doctors and social worker at the hospital spoke to the DON and ADON about before discharging me. Now those things that the DON and ADON said could be done they are refusing to do. As it is when I asked for staffs help they told me I needed to do it by myself because I am acting like I can’t do anything after having the surgery however when I tried to get dressed my port site began bleeding again and it appears I may have slightly opened one of the incisions where the port was placed. Now as of the night shift times for my IV antibiotic the nurse said she couldn’t give it as she is not an RN. If this is really the case then why would the other nurses who are LPNs and not RNs give the antibiotic and why would staffing put a nurse on who couldn’t administer my antibiotic knowing it is not acceptable to be missing antibiotic dosages for infections as it can actually cause more antibiotic resistant infections as the body can become immune to the antibiotic. Agency staff can be more of a problem to deal with especially when it comes to medications and doing their job I have had several agency aides on nightshift not willing to assist me or give me attitudes just because I asked them to do their jobs that they are paid to do and some agency nurses pick and choose what medications they will administer at night especially for patients that have medication throughout the night that they have to be woken up for. I ended up hospitalized for malnutrition as well as having several infections due to this facility’s negligence. I had to spend a month in the hospital after my outpatient GI doctor sent me to the ER at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus for signs of malnutrition caused by the facility’s negligence. Upon being admitted to the hospital I was found to have two antibiotic resistant infections as well as an intestinal infection. I had to be on IV infusions to clear up the infections and then the facility discharged me after they didn’t communicate with each other that I had been sent to the ER by my doctor who I saw and then the nurse calls at 7:15pm to find out where I am at and left a voicemail to call back and tell them where I was at. Shouldn’t they have realized something must have happened at the appointment as I was gone since that morning with Medical transport to an appointment in Cleveland. Now because one of my conditions of POTs being severely out of control and the only way to control it without dropping my blood pressure too low (80s/20s) which was occurring especially upon arrival to the ER and my doctors office and to keep my heart rate from going to the 130s and 140s which it also did upon arrival to my doctors office and the ER I have to be on IV infusions through my MediPort outpatient until I see the doctor in the POTs clinic and he can manage the condition and treatments. This facility also over dosed me on a medication which didn’t help the condition with the POTs as it only caused my heart rate to keep getting higher until my heart rate was 140 and I felt the effects big time. My doctor while admitted to the hospital for the last month took me off the medication they kept overdosing me on and then stating they weren’t doing that however they were giving me two 50mg capsules of a medication I was only supposed to get one of. My doctor started two medications in its place.

We were at breakfast with the Easter bunny and an egg hunt for the children at Lake Point. It was wonderful to see my granddaughter at her first egg hunt. What a very nice community event. Thank you to all involved with making this happen!
