My loved one sat there over an hour in a soiled bed. I sat there and watched multiple people walk by the room and look up at the light above the door, and kept walking. It took almost 2 hours for a bedridden person to be changed from a bowel movement. That is disgraceful!!

If you are in the Florence/Lake City area and need rehab, please come here. They are lovely people who actually care about your well being and wellness.

The CNAs are very well trained, the nurses are great, the administration checks on everyone and makes sure your needs are being met. The nurse practitioners check twice a week, and the Doctor checks too. The food isn’t bad either!

The cleanliness is outstanding. Rooms are cleaned every day including the floors. The hallways are polished and wiped down at least once a day. The maintenance people are great too. Everyone is very friendly!

The Physical Therapy room is beautiful! The staff knows what they need to do for each patient and guides them appropriately. The PT and OT equipment is very clean and up to date.

I’ve been in other rehab facilities in Florence, one where I thought I would die, and almost did, and another that was touted as great, but did nothing really to help me.

Please consider Scranton Lake City if you have need.

I am very grateful to all the supporting staff members at Lake City/ Scranton Healthcare. My mom was there for about six weeks for rehab purposes. Prior to her stay, my mom was unable to perform essential daily activities. Due to the pain in her knee she had pretty much given up trying to walk or be mobile at all. During her stay she received the medical care she required to recover from an infection and she received the OT/PT she required to get her walking with a walker. Thank you all for the care and therapy you provided to my mom.
