I was a LNA for many years until I found myself needing long term care. This place is terrible...granted some of the nurses were very good as well as a few LNAs ...many LNAs would be on their phones most of the time while call lights were ringing ...residents were unkempt , men un shaved and hair not combed. The administration was unapproachable from stink-eye looks from the administrator who would watch me walk down the hall past her and not even say hello to director of nursing having a sign on her office door saying do not disturb or knock. The food was just as bad small portions mostly pasta or rice based served cold and not even tasty.no diabetic meals offered for diabetics once I was served chicken nuggets it arrived with just small pieces of breading and cold French fries, when I complained to kitchen I was told " sorry that was all that was left in the bag" and was not offered any thing else....lucky I had some frozen meals from my sister in the resident kitchen..You need to find your own transportation to hospital and back unless it's a scheduled appointment...they have no transport van.The only good thing was their physical therapy department. ...... I transferred to Grafton County which is outstanding... good hot food... diabetic menu and nursing staff that really care. the way a good nursing home should be run. Five stars for Grafton County Zero stars or Lafayette

I believe this place needs to be shut down for neglect of their patients and wrongful death of my grandmother in December 2018. They dropped her on her head then said she was tootaling down the hall and fell out of her wheelchair trying to get her stuffed animal. They minimized the extent of her injuries (head was pooling with blood and had racoon eyes) yet no other injuries to her body and didn't send her to the ER until 5 days after her fall. They also never called the Dr. That was on call over the christmas holiday and not on the property to explain what happened until days later. Finally, after she sat there for 5 days wimpering, she was rushed to the hospital then died 8 days after her fall in Decber 2018. Shame on them! Do not send your loved ones to the place.

After a month stay at our local hospital, Franconia was the only facility that was covid free for my wifes rehab. After 1 week, she wanted to come home because the facility was not properly prepared for her rehab needs. Food was most of the time served cold . Also , she was not informed of a covid case in a separate wing of the facility. Protocols were followed but information was told to her as to why 2 tests were done in 1 day. She found out by myself after I was informed. So far not thoroughly pleased .

I couldn't be more impressed with this place. My experience has positive in every way. But I really especially love the way my mom and my whole family is treated by staff and the management at the center. They are always kind and helpful and I know my mom is safe. I've always had peace of mind and that is so important to me. Thank you Lafayette!!

The staff here is amazing. Every one I have met is not only professional but loving and caring as well. I can honestly say that I consider each one a new friend and, although I am really looking forward to going home soon, I will miss them. Their professionalism has literally put me back on my feet so much quicker than my husband and I thought possible. 5 Stars for each and every one of them!
