I would never recommend this rehabilitation facility to anyone with an elderly parent or vulnerable loved one. What I witnessed was beyond neglect — it felt like outright elderly abuse. When I visited my mother today, May 25th , I found her sitting in filth, with blood from open sores and severe skin breakdown. She had excoriation all over her buttocks and between her legs, along with numerous painful sores that appeared to have been ignored for far too long. No patient should ever be left in that condition. The smell of urine and uncleanliness was overwhelming. It was obvious she had not been properly cleaned, monitored, or repositioned. Her dignity, comfort, and basic medical needs were completely neglected. Seeing my mother suffering like that was heartbreaking and horrifying. Families trust rehabilitation centers to provide compassionate care, hygiene, wound prevention, and supervision — especially for elderly patients who cannot fully care for themselves. Instead, I found conditions that were unsafe, inhumane, and deeply disturbing. If you love your family member, think very carefully before placing them here. I strongly urge anyone considering this facility to ask hard questions, visit unexpectedly, and closely monitor the care being provided. No elderly person deserves to be treated this way. I needed assistance through the admissions process and Paige was so helpful and very informative. Unfortunately, was not in network with my loved ones insurance, but I appreciated her helping me understand the whole process.
