One star is too much. I was Released from Cleveland Clinic on 12/22 (after 8hr surgery & 10 day post-op stay) to go to rehab facility. I was transported to the Vermilion Kingston behind Drug Mart. It was around 10pm and no one was at the reception desk. The furnishings in my room were very old. First night there, I woke up & needed to go to the bathroom. I pulled the emergency cord above the bed to request help; the cord pulled out of the wall. I called for help & an attendant came & gave me my walked & followed me to the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like urine, the grab bar next to the toilet spun & was not secure, the shower floor was warped & unsafe. I washed my hands & went back to the bed, realized it was unhealthy & unsafe to stay, called home, explained the accommodations & said I needed to leave for my wellbeing. At 4am I walked with walker out of my room, down the hall, walked past elaborate, lobby, floor to ceiling holiday decorations & out the front door to waiting car, got in & went home. No one except the lone attendant acknowledged I was walking down the hall at 4AM or that I left. Rhonda Watt

I had an excellent experience with this skilled nursing facility. The nursing staff was attentive, patient, and consistently communicated updates about our client's care. Therapists worked closely with him and we saw real improvement week after week. The building was clean, meals were appropriate for dietary needs, and the administration was easy to work with. Stephanie is a dream to work with out in the field. She is knowledgeable and efficient. Patricia is a compassionate and professional Administrator. Kristi and Maryssa, who coordinate discharge planning, are patient, kind and thorough. Overall, very positive experience with Kingston.

My husband's grandma was at Kingston of Vermilion for physical therapy after breaking her leg. She loved the therapy team, especially Rosa! The staff took great care of her and she's even gone back for outpatient therapy after discharging home!
